In the battle of the the 'booo, forward, send him off' touchline stands, Leeds seem to have taken this one!

He literally wrapped his right arm in the tackle.

There is a huge amount of difference, just in the level of force that was applied.

That's mainly because leeds players about 12 stone and the kr ones about 17 stone.

Both had the same mitigation, both were direct forceful contact etc.

I think the differences of opinion show how difficult it is for refs. I think there was a fair bit of intent from Sue, which is why it's probably red depsite him losing height.

I did think Sinfields was very lucky to escape a red however.

Yes but he didn't suddenly drop his height. He was already low when Sue lined him up.

Remind us which team you support again? 🤣

If you listen to the explanation provided then you can’t argue with the outcome although some will

It's more the explanation for the first one was identical other that forceful. But it was just as bad, only done by someone much smaller.

Apart from it's not the refs making the decision, it's the VR.

Lisone was lowering himself drastically. There's high contact from Sue, but there wasn't anywhere for his arm to go. A yellow would have been fair, but a send-off is pretty insane. Massive mitigation due to Lisone's positioning.

Clearly the wrong call IMO.

Mitigation is just a cop out rule.

True that. I think both were the right call tbh but I get the not everyone would agree. I thought there was real intent in Sue's challenge.

Would this happen with any other sport? Time for Sky to go.

Yes, it does happen with other sports.

Not really, if you are saying both Sue and Sinfield had the same amount of direct fforceful contact, then sure..

But the difference was huge in the amount of force used.

Leeds have a habit of luring themselves into a sense of superiority by playing sides that are having a wobble. Hull KR are a much better team but fatigued. Leeds have had a few easy games.

Anyone else sky gone down?

Watching it on Fox League, and getting ''We apologise for the interruption...''.

He wrapped. Tackles are meant to have intent. Do you just want cuddles now?

There was zero wrapping - that was kind of the point.

I wasn't too bothered who won tonight, I dislike both teams involved 😂

I thought straight away it was worth a red, if Sky ever comes back on and I get to see another replay I'll let you know if my opinion changes. But I thought he was already pretty low before Sue lined him up. It wasn't one of those where he suddenly drops and it's too late for the defender to adjust.
