Do we have a roll call for this game?

Hopefully we'll get a few bodies back and this is the last game Sambou is out for.

Another tough game, aren't they all?

Just rang Doncaster ticket office again and they have said you have to pre-book car parking on your parking space.co.uk and put in ECO-POWER STADIUM and book car park no 2 as you can’t pay on the day

Got our tickets. If we can get 4 or 5 fresh bodies back into the team I'm confident we can put last weeks nightmare behind us.

Forber and Cartwright training with team tonight. Reinforcements have arrived

Sounds like neither Mo or JJ aren’t fit.

Edit, seen the squad and that is the case. Exciting to see Jacob Douglas in an Oldham shirt.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Think this is a much better squad than last weeks with five fresh bodies in and Ashurst and Milner back available as well. Cartwright had a decent game against London but I rate Douglas extremely highly, think he could be a very good Super League winger. Davies should slot straight into centre so for the first time in a while we actually have backs playing in their proper positions.

I'd go: PLT, Cartwright, Davies, JT, Douglas, Dean, Drinkwater, Dudson, Forber, Ted, Ashurst, Lawton, Moran. subs: Aldridge, Lannon, Hirst, Farnworth

Wouldn't mind Forster getting another chance in the second row but I reckon this is a must win game if we want a top 4 chance.

Oldham by 6.

Mine was also £3.50 in Car Park 2 according to that "Your Parking Space" app that we were directed to

No Milner? I suspect he will start at 13 if fit and rotate with Pat at 13 and Forber at 9 with Bailey dropping out. I suspect Lawton maybe on the bench and user at prop off the bench.  George Hirst has been steady but not explosive yet. He needs to make more impact if he wants to be seen as a super league player at Wigan next year..

From leading 30 - 12 it finished 30 - 26. Some daft penalties led to two tries and a massive mistake from the ref gave them their last try.

BUT a win is a win.

A wins and win!
some scrappy play let dons back in when we should’ve been out of sight. Lots to work on for next week but hopefully no new injuries.

🤞for a settled team selection and recognised wingers (mo and sambou) for the next two games

We were on the bad end of some awful referee/ touch judge decisions. Two of the tries were a direct result of players offside.

On a positive note, some of our early expansive play was a delight to watch. Thought PLT decision making with the ball in hand was much improved, Davies will be a tremendous set as will Lannon. Both had strong games. Forber as immense at dummy half and Adam Lawton is getting somewhere back near to full fitness.

JD was immense.

Bit nervy that last 10 mins not helped by the referee and linesman making up the rules of rugby league as they went along, Stevie Wonder would have seen the Doncaster players offside by a mile for their last try it was that obvious 🤣

All credit to Oldham, those lads out their are certainly putting in a shift, at present SL cannot put out anywhere near what his ideal first 17 would be. Today we had two new signings who'd been with us less than a week and DR players from Wigan filling gaps in the squad for multiple injured players, with the best will in the world none of them can be up to speed with how Oldham play, how they train, what formations, plays have been worked on etc so I can understand why at times we will look disjointed but credit where its due, all the newbies (as did the rest of the team) defiantly played for their jersey today, yep a few mistakes, silly errors and could have played better in certain areas but the effort is certainly there and a win at Doncaster who are a decent side however you achieve it is not to be sniffed at.

I've said this also on the Facebook page, Josh Drinkwater is absolute class and his play today was phenomenal. If Oldham can in some way get him signed up for next year as soon as possible I for one (and I bet I'm not the only Oldham fan) would gladly pay a few extra quid on my season ticket for next year to cover his wages if it keeps him at the club. One of the best signings Oldham have ever made in my time watching the YEDS.

COME ON OLDHAM!!!!!!!
