is it now RFL policy that one of the teams in every game has to wear the most ghastly coloured kit that is as far removed from their traditional colours as possible?

Dave Woods might think that's hilarious but that is shocking refereeing.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Not sure why he started running backwards like that. Pretty poor positioning.

He has to be somewhere, he can't disappear.

It's always frustrating when that happens, especially when I think Thewlis probably would have tackled him, but he can't just disappear. He was already trying to get out of French's way, he needs eyes in the back of his head to see Thewlis coming across.

Great play from Wigan, but I think that's a bit harsh for that to be given

Why, the ref is considered part of the pitch like goal posts.

He changed direction quite significantly. If he continues his run there's no collision.

So what, he was moving out of the ball carriers way, the player he was watching, Thewlis should be aware of his environment and not take the ref out.

I'm sure he'll be kicking himself at the missed opportunity at HT

Because he was denied an opportunity to make a tackle by the ref being in the way

Irrelevant unfortunately.

This situation would probably come under the age ol' rule of "sh** happens"

That's not how the game works, the ref is part of the furniture, if Thewlis had ran into the post would you be complaining that the post got in his way.

Miski not trusting the sliding defence is a bit of a regular occurrence. Good hands from Wire though

Poor wasn't it.
