What is going on with this S and C team? Players are even getting injured in the warm up now!! This new set up was brought in at the end of the brilliant 2023 season and it’s been injury after injury ever since. Having said all that, golden point win!!

If they are all out, not sure how anything else bar a comfortable Catalans victory is possible. I wouldn't even be able to name 2 centres and 2 second rowers. Would need a prop, probably Pene, to move to an edge. If he is fit that is. Unless Brad Martin is recalled.

Not just this year Cheadle, the very same 'soft tissue' injuries happened last year, blamed on a lack of a conditioner in place for pre season, Mr Lam now suggesting it is happening again because they are training on the main pitch, something is amiss, 1 case bad luck, 2 cases conicidental, 3 cases something amiss, 4+ (which over the two seasons there has been more) an indepth investigation to ascertain the root cause.

I shouldn't imagine you watched Leigh's game at Salford last week with it being screened at the same time as your lot, but if you did knowing a number of players missing for Leigh you will realise why I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Big Joe O in the squad for Leigh.  Excited to hopefully see him up against Pangai Jr in the flesh.

Catalans look better on paper than in real life and I think Lam/Ipape in the spine for Leigh will make the difference.

At some point you would think Mr Negative Luke Keary will show his ability.  Tomkins returning too still has class.

Hopefully an exciting competitive first game of the day.

Packs sorted although Halton is a big miss - imagine the CCSF has a big role to play in selection for both teams. Not concerned with Hodgson at FB but desperately need Niu back

The squad that Leigh initially put out on social had Hughes left out and Kavan Rothwell in. Then it was updated to include Hughes, so I assume he will play left edge second row again. Which I think is his best position to be fair. Need Hanley or Niu to be back. Can’t have McIntosh at centre again
