Looking forward to this Sunday, it'll be nice to face our old foes again. I've got a lot of time for the club and there's some great people there that work extremely hard to keep the club running in a professional manner.

Hopefully we give them a right good shoeing and make them wonder why they even bother.

I see we have Mr Belafonte in the middle again this week, that's two weeks in a row. Another one of our up and coming refs.

Thank God I'm not the only one 😀 - better that Mr Mickey Mouse Gloves, anyhow.

With it being a Challenge Cup weekend (so no SL fixtures), I'm frankly amazed that it's not "Welcome to the Velladome" this weekend.....

That pleasure has fallen to Oldham v. Toulouse. I just hope it doesn't come our way next weekend|

You won't get rich backing the Knights with Skybet today. They are a massive 1/66 to win outright, while on the handicap coupon, Hunslet get a 28 points start.

If you fancy a flutter on the 1895 cup, the Knights are 7/2 to win it outright. Bradford are evens favourites, with the other 2 both at 4/1.

New signing Mata’afa looks a real handful, on todays showing looks like we have another good one, you have to hand it to Clint, he does seem to know a good player, judging by who he has brought in this season. Next week will be interesting against the Bulls.

Professional performance by the knights today against a team that is finding it hard to compete with a lot of championship clubs who have bigger budgets than them .Also thought Mata'afa had a solid game on debut.

great competition for places , all players looked hungry and gave 100% when it was easy to relax against a poor hunslet side . clinical to the end , keep it going , well done to all .

Another win and another great performance by the Knights. These are great times to be a York RL fan as the Knights juggernaut continues to gather momentum. Next up Bradford Bulls with a place at Wembley up for grabs. Let’s make it a day to remember and get the place rocking. Up the rampant Knights!

another trip to the shops and another outstanding buy. well done. apart from one brain explosion when he let a kick bounce 2 or 3 times n then attempted a 40 yard pass in front of his own sticks he was superb. up the kneets!

Just watched the Dean muir interview seems like a top bloke gave full credit to York which is nice to see feel quite sorry for him with this task he’s got done an incredible job getting hunslet up in the first place and in all honesty even though they’ve all got one win I’ll feel they are overperforming with the squad they have.Would be nice to see us loan a few players there who are struggling for  gametime. Eg.Pembo/teanby/ward/myles keep them match fit for if we need them I know they were looking to get Ferreira back on loan before he did his acl which is a shame. Also said in his post match interview that apparently we have a few more signings lined up which is always good to hear hopefully as good as our mid season signings so far.

Do we know if we will find anything about having 14 men on the field at one point? think it was around the first Toa try, Kieran Hudson came on but Jack Martin was still on the field.

You couldn’t fault the effort of Hunslet but it shows the standard of the championship. I’d read the Hunslet fans complaining about their team but I don’t know how? Considering that they’re budget is tiny compared to most teams in the league it definitely showed yesterday. We didn’t really get out of 2nd gear but made it comfortable. We controlled the game really well making it difficult for them to get out of their 40.

A few rested ready for Bradford. Ata back in the halves with Brown at full back and Bailey back in the 2nd row? Toa looks a good player will he play in the centre on Sunday?

It’s a great job for Mash with all the players available 😀

Why will you play Toa in the centre, he'll be full back? Brown will come in on the wing for BJB, Ata at half back, McShane back to 9, and Bailey in the second row. Santi, Hudson and 2 others on the bench, probably Cook and Field. They'll take us to Wembley.

Don’t think anything will come of it Hudson was on the field but wasn’t involved he held himself back and waited until Martin went off before he joined the line

Hopefully nothing comes of it - I’ve witnessed it happen twice, once in 2002 (a 14th St Helens player made 1 tackle, no charge) and then in 2013 (a 14th Salford player made 3 tackles, 2 points deducted). If like you say Hudson had no involvement then it should be just a slap on the wrist.

isn't that one of the jobs the 4th official is supposed to do, make sure the interchanges are done correctly?

Cmon Kneets, where’s your thread for the cup game? I won’t presume to put it on for you as that would be rude. But we’ve a game to big up!
