I see Eloi is parachuted immediately into the Oldham game against TO. That's going to be interesting!

What am I missing? 😂

Hunslet are not very good, I'd back York on any handicap that the bookies give them this week. I reckon Hunslet could get up to 24-28 points start and I'd expect York to cover that comfortably.

I agree they are improving but I think with home advantage and a dry firm pitch the Knights will have too much for them, but, you cannot be complacent against any team in this division as we have found out in the past.

Just wondered if you were taking the York Hype Train out of its shed for a run out again Ox...
I'm not a betting man - but would never seriously predict a win of that size for any team in the Championship this year - The Competition is thankfully pretty competitive in most games every week.
While I'm sure the club and fans would be absolutely delighted with a 50+pt win to bank the 2pts in the League table going into a empty couple of weeks (1895 SF and Bye round)...but I've been watching them for too long to even allow myself to expect a win, let alone a result of that size!
Looking forward to Sunday though...The sun looks like it might be out, I can apparently watch the Valkyrie against Saints on a big screen inside the ground - closely followed by, hopefully a good game against Hunslet.

It was a close game against Widnes, one that Hunslet could have won, and they were on top for most of the game. They won at Batley the week before. I think York will win pretty comfortably, but would be very surprised if it's a thrashing.

Hope they've got a good referee for Batley.vs Bradford round 2. Maybe also someone to keep order in the Batley boardroom too.

I like to put my neck on the line. 🤣

Sorry Hunslet fans but in my opinion they are one of the worst teams Ive seen in a while in the Championship, no disrespect to them, it was expected from where they got promoted. We joke but York have found a bit of form and are more than capable of putting points on a team if they play well. If I found out York were going to rest players for it then I would change my opinion but I expect nothing but a thrashing for Hunslet at the moment in this game.

18-24 with a minute to go. We had possession,  could a draw be on the cards or would the bookies be right with a 6 point difference? Neither, spilled possession and sloppy defending I'm afraid!!! Referees interpretation of the offside rule was different than the crowd's! 🤔

Not the result we all wanted in Oldham but fair play to Toulouse, they defended well and were patient to wait for mistakes.

Great game and fingers crossed we are able to put a strong team out next week vs Fev
