A week to go and we'll know if we are Wembley bound!

I see Featherstone thrashed Widnes today and let's hope they feel a little overconfident about next week. And who knows the plastic pitch could have some repercussions.

We can only hope we have JT and Lawton back and who knows if anyone else can come in to fill the gaps all over the place.

Depending on the bloke in the middle, I'll take Oldham to win by 12.

I’m praying we see JT, Jay Chapelhow and mo back for this one. Realistically can’t see any others back so we will still need a DR winger at least

Just checked out the Pies squad for the weekend. Miski has had his op and is out for mths.  Jacob Douglas is in the 21 and it will between him and another Oldhamer Zack Eckersley as to who replaces Miski on the wing.  Tom Forber not in the 21.

Salford are talking up the return of Nene to the Salford starting line up (well Paul Rowley is).

See that the Jimmy frizzel stand is open so it's looking like a bigger crowd this time against fev and hopefully more Oldhamers will turn up seeing 👀 as it's a very important game c'mon owdam 🏉🏉

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

I'd go PLT, Pons, Davies, JT, Lowe, Dean, Drinky, Dudson, Forber, Ted, Ashurst, Forster, Milner. subs:Moran, Farnworth, Hirst, Pellisier.

Obviously hope JT is fit as if he's not we have very very limited options at centre. If we can keep it a close game I think our pack can get us over the line but if it's an attacking game I think we'll really struggle out wide.

Going to say Oldham by 2 but in hope rather than confidence this week.

I think we'd probably all prefer DC in there but just doesn't look like that's going to happen

I agree. Longy seems to have settled on Dean. He has all the skills needed and makes for a great highlight reel but he is not yet consistent for me and makes daft errors at times. DC hasn't played for a while but I do like him. The continued absence of Jake Chap is a concern but great to see Owen Farnworth.

Wouldn't mind seeing one of dean/craven at FB with PLT on the wing.

PLT is at full back is integral to our attacking shape out the back or wearing out the big lads in the middle chasing shadows so I know what you mean but can't see it.

danny craven is a class standoff and must play from the start.

dean is a descent player but he is not in cravens class.

last week again toulouse first half absolute rubbish.we dont want that again.

second half who changed the game plan i reckon it was drinkwater.

then we where a different team. if we had played like that in the first halt we could have won. so attack attack attack

Heart says Oldham, head says Fev.

They've got a lot stronger since we last played them and we've accumulated more injuries.

Pellisier has only played one game and Pons only trained one week

The day's arrived after a sleepless night dreaming about the "what if."

Let's all hope for a decent, fair referee and accept the score and then book OUR Wembley trip!

Turns out you were right, Paul Cooke said on Thurs Fev had picked up a couple of injuries on the plastic pitch and sure enough Toby Boothroyd and Jayden Hatton are both missing today.

"I won’t engage in a debate because the above is correct and if anything else is stated to the contrary it’s incorrect."

That was honestly dreadful. I couldn't see a coherent gameplan from us at all, Featherstone on the other hand you could see what they were trying to do after 2 sets and the stuck to it pretty much all game.

Thought we looked much better when the French hooker came on the pitch.

Very disappointing afternoon.

Fev way too good for us today. Felt very similar to the Bradford game when you hear the team list and know you have pretty much no chance of winning. Featherstone dominated right from the off and never really let up. Hampshire was brilliant but thought their full back Aekins was the best player by a mile. Must have carried the ball once every set and landed on his front every time.

Thought Dean was the only one for us to really stand out and look dangerous but there has to be serious questions about our squad, it's age and ability to compete in the Championship week to week. Feels like every 3rd or 4th game we essentially put out a team that cannot compete. Our old lads were out on their feet after 20 mins.
