From a Leigh point of view, where was McIntosh for that try - in bloody no man's land like he usually is.

Didn’t matter where McIntosh was, O’Neill and O’Brien shot in creating a massive overlap for that score

I like Walters more and more every time I watch him.

What a nightmare for Leigh! If someone actually got in a position to catch that kick it could have made a difference, even if they couldn't quite get to it. Leaving it completely was a poor decision.

Really nicely explained by Liam Rush (Jon Wells says the exact same just as I type), in saying there wasn't a catcher and that Nsemba then becomes okay.

Wardle with a beauty of a run, then Ipape interrupts with a proper Kumul-style tackle. Good stuff.

Great awareness and calmness under pressure from Ellis.

Those tries are really embarrassing to concede. Four players in contact with the man near the line and no one paying attention to the ball.

Jon Wells really trying to talk this up as a close contest, with a couple of ''moments''.

I'm just seeing a procession, with Wigan in second gear.

Ofahengaue grounded that at the start, then was held up too late. Great effort from Wardle, though.

Wardle does a great job there for me and gets under to hold up Ofahengaue. I think that should have been knocked back.

Just about keeps the game alive, I suppose.

Ipape is everywhere. Really putting himself about.

Been in really good form for a few weeks now in both attack and defence. Glad he’s tied down because he’s our best player by a mile

Also a bit of a relief that he seems to be behaving himself off-field, because he was apparently a bit lairy in his NRL days.

Ipape enjoying himself. Always going to be a massacre but I’m enjoying Leigh throwing around a bit.

Been too conservative this season, so this next 40 a free hit.

Rubbish that we are playing Wigan, AWAY again and not half way through the season !

Leigh still have a chance in this. Wigan are once again conceding very soft tries, which means we could easily concede several in quick succession. We did so against Wire and also against Hull FC in the cup game. The crucial thing for Wigan is finding that defensive resilience that we used to be known for where we'd fight to the death to avoid conceding. If Leigh can tighten up defensively they've got a chance, but based on some of their own defending in the first half that could be a tough ask.
