Leeds looked much weakened against Wigan last weekend. I'm hoping to see better from them today, but Saints are not the easiest club to bounce back against.

I might have jinxed Saints!  Good start from Leeds.

Afternoon all, I’m late to the action.

[Gerrumonside ref]

Jodie Cunningham knocks on as Saints start to move the ball out wide.

[Gerrumonside ref]

Nice set from Leeds, Saints starting deep in their own half

[Gerrumonside ref]

Saints get away with one there by not fielding Leeds high kick on the last, luckily the bounce was in their favour

[Gerrumonside ref]

Both sides exchanging clean sets with Leeds just edging the field position battle

[Gerrumonside ref]

Another ball left to bounce by Saints’s backs and it’s lucky the Rhinos couldn’t make more of it.

[Gerrumonside ref]

Leeds in through Isabel Northrop and get the reward for building pressure

[Gerrumonside ref]

Howard adds the extras and Leeds open up a 10-0 lead with 32 mins gone.

The co-commentary on the women’s game is even more amateurish than some of the action

[Gerrumonside ref]

Lucy Murray bulldozes through the Saints defensive line but on the next tackle the ball is knocked on

Saints force a Leeds drop out under the posts.

[Gerrumonside ref]

A nice scoot from dummy half almost results in a Saints try there.

[Gerrumonside ref]

Whitfield blasts her way through to score a try from a short pass near the line.

They needed it and they got it just before HT.

Saints 4-10 Leeds (38 mins gone)

[Gerrumonside ref]

The conversion is shanked wide and hopefully that won’t be costly

[Gerrumonside ref]

Amy Hardcastle has Saints gaining good metres on the first tackle

[Gerrumonside ref]

That’s HT

St Helens 4-10 Leeds

[Gerrumonside ref]

I didn’t see the first 20 mins but Leeds had been the better team until that last 5 mins in what is an even game.

[Futtocks]

Great start for Leeds in the second half, as Mel Howard scores her first WSL try.

[Gerrumonside ref]

Terrible start by Leeds as they fail to collect the kick off and Leeds snap up the opportunity and within a tackle they are in through Howard
