Crusaders only away winners.

I'll go with that too!

Hope there is a decent crowd for Hornets…after Sunday they have 2 games in the next 41 days and 10 weeks before their next home game. Thats longer then the football close season.

Strategic review please note.

Dewsbury are going a month without any game.

Crazy, imagine that happening in SL or even the Championship.

How has that happened?

I assume it's something like - the 1st week was the 1895 cup semi's (which they didn't make), then their bye week, then the week they were supposed to play Cornwall, then the Cup Finals weekend?

North Wales Crusaders have had ONE League 1 home game (last Sunday [18th May] vs Newcastle Thunder) since the season started (23rd February)!

Its happening to all League 1 teams. Difficult to gain any momentum with the bye weeks and the gaps left by Cornwall no longer playing.

Anyone's game at half time but Midlands got their act together after the break to blow Whitehaven away. Another impressive win for Mark Dunning's boys who entertain Swinton next week.

I've heard there's a pub in Keighley where a dog rolls over and plays dead every time they lose. Amazing to see apparently. No one knows what it does when they win as its only 6 months old.

Fantastic what Midlands and North Wales are doing on the pitch but with both having less than 300 at their latest home games it's got to be a huge barrier going forward surely ?

One to tick off the bucket list, finally get to see us come away from Cougar Park with a win.

Until we scored three tries in the last ten minutes, the game could have gone either way, so quite relieved in the end.

I'd like to think there's a tipping point where the success, in terms of results and league position, is eventually noticed by the good people of Birmingham and another 300-or-so rock up to get involved and enjoy the ride. Hurricanes are a pretty good watch after all in a sport that is usually full of thrills and spills.

We do have a committed owner now who does have ambitions to take the club to the next level. A lot of work is being done done to market the club and build the relationships with the local community so you would hope that the crowds will come when that all pays off. It's pretty tough for us though in a huge stadium in an area which is diverse and dispersed - as in kicks to touch not landing in someone's back garden.

I think Crusaders have the same challenges as Midlands but the circumstances are different in some ways.

To be fair, I don't think there was much more of a crowd Keighley today, but we're all struggling in a league that is largely out of sight and out of mind to the powers that be.

Our owners have stated that they want the club to break even, although that will obviously take several years. They have also said that the key to achieving break even is to be playing on our own ground, but whether or not that can happen is up to the owners.

We can't say any more than that because they haven't said any more. We live in hope.

I think Cru were lucky to go in at the end of the first half at 6 all. We were falling off tackles and Cougars looked the more dominant team overall although they had to do a lot of defensive work, which probably told in the end.

Looks like Carl Forster did his usual halftime enthusiastic team talk (boll*cking) to get the result he wanted. Cougars chasing the socreboard opened up opportunities for Crusaders to pile on some point towards the end of the second half.

Whatever you read on social media, Cougars ain't half as bad as some of their 'fans' make out.
