Leeds seem to be clicking now (i was going to say jelling/gelling but i didn’t know which one to use. My spelling is woeful). Leeds by 16.

Cas  by 4. This is always a coin toss game and form going into it is irrelevant.

Unfortunately for Cas they can't play Shudds and Salford every week so another defeat is almost certain.

Leeds by 20.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Hoping for a Cas win! I agree both Leeds & Cas have had a favourable fixture list compared to us, having getting Warrington twice, Saints twice, Catalans away both Hull Teams, Leeds away again coming up yet we still haven't played Salford & Huddersfield, jury's out on this one 🤔

The results of Cas vs Leeds games at the Jungle is rarely informed by the form of the teams leading up to it.

I remember one year Leeds winning the WCC vs Melbourne one week and going to bottom of the table Cas the week after and getting a good spanking. There's plenty of similar examples. I might put a couple of quid on Cas to soften the blow of a likely loss.

Daytime kickoff probably helps to ease the hostility in the atmosphere, but Leeds need to start well to maintain it, and they have performed better against teams higher up the league, so this is a test of that.

Is this one of BBC's regular picks, if so why on the iPlayer, or red button?

Looking at the TV schedule, this could easily be on BBC1 (outside Scotland) or BBC2. The BBC deal is baffling in its inconsistency.

Bbc Red button, according to BBC RL schedule, type it in and it shows what games are on and which Bbc channel.  31st May Wakefield un Leeds on Bbc 2.

To be clear, I know what "channel" it is on, the question is why is it not on one of the main channels when they have nothing in particular to show, no live event just repeating something they have shown a multitude of times. It COULD be on regular tv if the BBC wanted it to be.

It's annoying because this is the Yorkshire's biggest SL derby (excl. Hull), usually has strong crowds and almost always delivers on the field. It would be a great one to have on proper TV.

Not any longer....

"Saturday afternoon’s Super League clash between Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos will no longer be available to watch via the BBC Red Button.

Instead, if they wish to watch the BBC’s coverage, they will have to tune in via either iPlayer, the BBC Sport website or the BBC Sport app.

Alternatively, the game will also be available via the Sky Sports+ Red Button/app.

Maybe the Salford game to kick the season off put them off, we said it would, any new viewers wouldn't have put Super League on again i doubt.

Cas by 10 for me
