Leigh took advantage when Wigan went 28-6 up and became complacent.

If Hull FC do go in front they'll have to go the full 80 to win with no letting up.

Depends how we start for me, we always seem to play better when chasing the game, we can’t keep letting teams get 12/16 points ahead though.

I’m yet to see a “2024” performance yet but we seem to be grinding out wins, hopefully as Lam says it will star to click soon, it was around this time last year we went on a 10+ game winning streak.

A game in the balance - Leigh missing 2 of the spine will be the key. If McNamara  slots in well then Leigh win.

Or will Ipape go to 6?

We have played without 2 of that spine in a few games this season, and the 'replacement' for the Full Back is performing as well if not better than the No1 jersey holder has, I am not to convinced as yet with McNamara but I think we are in with him for the long haul, I don't think that the club is interested in obtaining another 6 any time soon, but if we want to move forward it is our most vulnerable position in my opinion, dad is relying to much on his son to be our sole playmaker.

Back to the game, Sezer is having a great season but the fulcrum of Hull FC is our old boy John Asiata it is imperative we control him, a couple of Edwin's big legal hits on John's dodgy leg may prove worthwhile.

Leigh by 2 scores.

I would like Ipape at 6. Played there in his younger days and any marking half back would be absolutely petrified at the thought of marking him.

Need him to fill out at 13 though, and bring some speed on again around the ruck. Dwyer needs to play for me (awaiting the cream pies to be thrown at me) but them runs from dummy half and up the guts rugby kills team like Hull.

Any win will do me, but if we play conservatively, we will get caught out. Hulls moves are similar to Leighs of previous years and is very easy on the eye.

I wouldn’t be surprised if McNamara is offered another contract at Leigh as Lam seems to rate his utility value and he won’t be on a fortune, they also see young Will Brough as a halfback/centre and I think we would have seen a bit more of him this year but for injury. Brough has also been offered a longer contract.

I would intend to agree with you Binosh, but these lads are have a value as squad players they are not as yet of the quality to take us forward as a top team.

Should be a good'un looking forward to this. I also suspect it may get a bit spicy . If I had to pick a winner, think I would take leigh by a small margin.
