In 8 days I am 91 years old. I have watched Fev since 1938 and am still a season ticket holder. I will continue to attend as long as I can. UTR. All the best, I will do the MOM as long as I can.

Looking back I have been involved in terracing, stand help, advertising, helping out in the pub, going round shops and business places telling them we could advertise on the ground instead of newspapers, selling raffle tickets, etc. I have two dedications from the club about my contributions. All the best to everybody I will continue my support. I dont have anything with sugar in it any more so I will have something of a family snack. Just a further reminder my son Robert was groundsman for a while and still helps out. UTR and all the best for the future.

That is amazing JC. I've been a loyal fan since my Dad started taking me in the early mid 70s but your involvement with the club puts mine in the shade.

Respect to you.

Great. There are quite a few old supporters. I wonder if we know what sum of money we will get from the Wembley final.

Apparently Championship  clubs don't make  any money from the 1895 final.

On that basis why don't they play it separately at another venue and make some money.

So the RFL can say how wonderful a success the Challenge Cup Final is at Wembley with the extra 5k-10k Championship fans at the game, who would not have gone without the 1895 cup final being there.

I'm sure I'll think of something funny to say soon.

Just another memory. 1951 I am playing scrum half for Rovers under 18's against Sharlston. Their scrum half was Don Fox. What a game. Don went to centre and scored the winning try. 1952 I did National Service in Egypt and was recalled for the Suez invasion in 1956.

So I kept in touch with Rovers news my mother sent me the P and C Express by post to where I was abroad every time she could. I was in Gibraltar, Malta, Cyprus and Egypt.  Had trouble with EOKA and Egyptians.
