Leigh by 4.

This should be game of the week in my opinion.

The Wakefield – York semifinal last year was my 2nd ever game of RL. This will be my 6th. Having seen 3 blow outs in a row since that very enjoyable SF, I'm trusting Trinity and Leigh will produce a good close engaging game.

I'd much prefer you to see a blow out in Wakey's favour but suspect you'll get what you want. I've put Wakey down for a win but think it'll be nail bitingly close whichever way it falls.

Lets see the Wakefield squad before any predictions.  Could do with glass-back making an appearance as this game could be a close one.  He can go back into the shadows for the subsequent Wigan and HKR fixtures.

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Correct , his appearances are more elusive than Haley's Comet

Looking at the fixtures this week Luke, it should be the most competitive.

Competitive definitely.  But I  also think skill wise. Both are good teams (though injuries are a problem) with plenty riding on the game. If it's sunny, I really do think this will be a good game.

Leigh just need to pick the right team to quicken up the ruck.

Do that, they will be ok.

Don’t do that (and Lam perseveres with ok players rather than impact / experience players), we could get battered !

Must win game for Leigh, lose it and very likely in 7th spot after this round.

Did you do maths at school Harry 🤔🤔coz I can’t see anything worse than 5th

I think Wakey are just playing too well at the minute. Our (Leigh) pack is excellent, but most of our current backs are just 'okay'. Trinity win by 14 😞

Trueman in the squad for wakey.

I wonder if this will just be a cameo appearance or will he stick around in the team for a good run of games. I really hope he is over his issues because only playing with one half back is far from ideal.

Yes you are correct Col, from memory I assumed (wrongly) that Saints and Wakey were two points behind with better +/- returns, 5th it would be if Leigh lost, with the chasing pack breaking down our necks, Leigh simply can't afford to lose this.

Well Hul look like they may struggle without Pryce and Asiata - we will now be 4th at worst. It’s a big test because not far off everyone fit so we should start performing now.

Cats also look there for the taking, win this and next week, with a stream of home games on the run in and as poor as I believe we have been playing top 4 starts to look a very strong possibility

As I have been saying for a while, remove Asiata from the Hull offence and they struggle for ideas, classically displayed last night.

We can make things easier with a good organising halfback who can also kick, O'Brien is alright but we need more than alright if we want to join the top 4 teams, and although Mr Lam keeps shouting the praises of young Macnamara he is not that step up in quality required in my opinion.
