The Eagles currently in 10th spot with 3 wins from 11 so far..Batley(h) and Fev/ London (a).Poor season by their usual standards and without the now retired Anthony Thackeray..often Barrow's nemesis. The raiders without a win in 3 need some fresh legs  and  a better "rub of  the green"..maybe official's who can spot knock- ons, forward passes, and dropouts not going the distance.Perhaps perfectly good tries could stand and not be disallowed...probably too much to ask🤔

Dreadful from us today. Referee was awful as well and missed a lot of high tackles, not sure what Ryan brown got binned for after the scuffle when we got given the penalty

We don't have any urgency in our play until we get behind. Good effort from mid-way through the 2nd half, but that was too late, given we were 18 points behind. We're not the same team without Ryan King. Yes, Bulman scored a hat-trick, but his fumble under a high ball let Sheffield score their 2nd try. 2 more 'Swiss-cheese' tries after the break sealed the game for them. Too many errors - Josh Wood had 2 knock-ons and a forward pass in the 1st 15 mins. 3 teams breathing down our neck now for 6th place. A MUST win at Hunslet now to have any chance of the play-offs.

Got what we deserved today,no point in blaming the ref every time we get beat!

I agree you can't keep blaming the ref for a defeat, we were very poor overall today, and played our best rugby in the last 15 mins, which was too late, who knows another 5 mins and the result could have been very different, but that would have been unfair on Sheffield who deserved the victory.

Awful today.
blame the referee all you want but he doesn’t miss tackles, drop balls or make massively forward passes.
We really got exposed in the back row defensively, hopefully we get players back from injury sooner rather than later.

I thought that the ref was not good but the constant whining of some Barrow players will not have helped matters.

Since Carl Forster left we have not had a leader on the field. You could see, and hear, him telling players what was wanted when there was a break in play and being very vocal - to the team NOT the ref. I think we have looked more organised when Walker is given more responsibility when Johnston is missing from the team.

Personally I dislike the automatic changes of hooker at set times in the game as though it is mandatory. We need to be more flexible as to who we substitute and when.

I kind of agree with that, in my eyes I thought it would have been better to take Johnson off in the 2nd half as he wasn't doing anything noticeable and leave Bishop on as half back with Josh Wood returning to his hooker role, apart from moaning and groaning Johnson was pretty ineffective and his defence needs a lot of work, ( that's a polite way of saying he can't tackle).

I couldn’t make the game on Sunday due to work so won’t comment on it. I will say apart from the odd game where he keeps things simple and sometimes controls things Johnston has very little impact on games. He’s not a week in week out championship standard 7 imo, league 1 is his level. He needs to look at himself before waving his arms around and screaming at officials.

Johnston's kicking game is his strength and he's usually good at that. But unlike our opponents halves he rarely breaks through the defensive line himself or create breaks for others. Samut was better at that than Johnstone.
