If you are coming to Toulouse for this match. Remember to bring a hat and sun cream, they are predicting 39C in the late afternoon.  Proper scorchio.

Third time lucky for Widnes?  Looking more likely to drop into the bottom four. But hope springs eternal. Apparently.

Will Via Occitanie disappearing at the end of next month affect UK viewers being able to watch TO games on YouTube? Presumably the answer is yes.

Good game at Feath tonight, Halifax right in it at 16 a piece in the second half, but Rovers turned the screw in the last 20, to run out worthy winners.

First time Ive seen Fax live in a while and think you are right, I don't think there was much in the teams but Fev deserved it in the end. I thought the game turned on a knock decision that now having watched the replay certainly goes a couple of yards back that we would have had a race away try to make it 22-14 and a 2 score cushion. Other than that a 7-1 penalty count and Fax's discipline is clearly still a massive problem. I thought Fev looked really sharp moving the ball while Fax were clunky and Eastmond seems loathed to play JWH at 1 and Jouffret at 6 but on the flip side I thought Nofoaluma looked really dangerous for us at FB and looks a good signing.

I did chuckle at the last try which is clearly no try, taking away my predicted 10 point margin. So ive gone to a captains challenge for that one and saying I got it spot on. 🤣

I'd agree that we (Fev) got the rub of the green with a couple of decisions, but also that we looked much slicker moving the ball and although I was worried we might end up beating ourselves with some daft mistakes, I thought we were much the better team overall.

The game had a totally different feel to the one at The Shay, Fax absolutely dominated us that day but they were in the middle of their early-season hot spell then whereas Cooke was just settling in and we were trying to make do with Aekins and Addy at half back and were miles off the speed.

I do share the puzzlement of Fax fans at Eastmond still playing Woodburn-Hall at half back, I'd certainly say as an opposing fan that Jouffret (injured or just not selected?) at half and WH at full back would worry me a lot more than WH and Hansen at half. Caleb Aekins is exactly the same, he can fill in adequately at half but he's miles better at 1.

It's clearly says in the scores that the last try WAS a try 😉, good contest and for long periods good backing from Fax fans - and THAT drum 🥁!!!

I think enough people see it now that it becomes a bit of stubborness. Jouffret fit to play last 2 weeks and he has to be in the team infront of Hansen every single week.

Nope not having it, in true Fax fashion, I am claiming the moral high ground on that decision and calling it a 10 point win. 😂

Good performance from Toulouse in punishing conditions. This was non- stop action from a typical top four game , as Houles put it. Toulouse are a decent outfit who work hard together with Marion as the linchpin. Impressed with Oldham, well set up with good discipline. Errors cost them and the heat took its toll in the last quarter. They were the best team from HT for about twenty minutes but the French survived as Longys’ men faded.

Sensible reffing  from Mr Belafonte who allowed the game to flow.

I watched it and Oldham were 'out on their feet' like you say, they really gave it their all in that heat along with Toulouse. Well done to both teams.

À really entertaining game and amazing the fitness levels nowadays. I can’t recall a water break first half but the second half break must have been five minutes long. Olly  A-B looked just as lively  in the 80th as he did in the 1 st minute.
The only négative for TO is Jake Shorrocks having to miss next game v Widnes due to the protocol procédure but player self are must always take priority.

Hats off then for Harry!
