Close game even with saints injuries, Saints by 6

Posted

Whilst injuries aren't helpful (think latest count is Welsby, Murphy, Percival, Whitby, Bell, Bachelor, possibly Sironen and Hurrell working his way back from long-term injury at Bradford) our form is poor against any team with a pulse anyway.

We have a team out that should be able to complete, but I'm not sure it will. Think Leeds by 14+

I'd go:

Sailor

Feldt, Robertson, Cross, Dagnall

Lomax, Mbye

Walmsley, Clark, Lees

Sironen, Whitley

Knowles

Subs: Wingfield, Delaney, Stephens, Burns

If no Sironen, Wingfield into the XIII and Paasi onto the bench.

Slight bit more expectation than hope for Leeds with this. The first of a big set of 4 matches. Take 6 or 8 points from them and it cements us in the top 2. The opportunity is certainly there.

Whitby is going to be a big miss

Think back to how bade we were before he came on the scene

Think we may struggle tonight

To be fair Mbye has a decent long kicking game. Not as good as Whitby, but probably one of the bigger gaps Saints had beforehand

Took a captains challenge for 1 to finally be spotted though

Messy PTBs are what you get when ref "let's the game flow", he is staying out of it.

Dull game, weve been really poor so far, silly errors. But Saints look like the worst ive seen them attack wise. That could bite me on the ###### like

Nah, we’re both terrible. Watching this makes me realise just how far Hull KR and Wigan are ahead - aware and very pleased as I type this that Wigan are losing.

There's no way Clark and Delaney should be joining that tackle so late.

But with Liam Moore on video ref, Leeds have got to be more savvy. We know he has no interest in flops.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.
