DEANO Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Cracking win after being 18-0 down 1 sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward
Puk Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Shows a lot of character and spirit in the team to come back from a poor start to the game. 3
Vikingwasp Posted June 22 Posted June 22 As one of the Andy impersonators said "You wouldn't want to give Featherstone an 18 point start next week." Many a true word spoken in commentary! Never a dull moment in the Championship.

There have been some cracking games in the Championship over the last couple of seasons, anyone can beat anyone on their day and no team can be taken lightly, it is a pity it isn’t given the coverage or credit it deserves. Week in week out we see good honest rugby being played mostly by guys who have to get up every morning to do a days work before training and playing. 4

Trying not to be over critical, we've had quite a few lapses in the last couple of games , iam sure mash will adress this and we'll come back more astute against fev at the weekend.

Bit of a lapse yesterday when were the others sometimes you have to take a step backwards to move forward
HaxbyKnight Posted June 23 Posted June 23 A few lapses in discipline still. Penalty count yesterday was 8 - 3 according to the League Express.
White Knight Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Must say it’s getting tight at the top after the Widnes Toulouse result. A couple of four pointers today: Barrow entertain the Bulls whilst Halifax take on Oldham. It’s turning into one hell of a competition. Up the Knights! 1 Beer and York Knights. Proof the God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Think I'd class the LNER game as a 4 pointer as well. Whatever happens today, we will still be no lower than 3rd, could even go second if Barrow win. 1

Not as many as normal i shouldn't imagine, home crowds have dropped off alarmingly. Spoke to someone today who said they'd lost interest with no chance of promotion. We're going we've gone for over 50 years and still enjoy - most weeks lol. 2
White Knight Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Safe journey. 1 Beer and York Knights. Proof the God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Good luck for rest of season . Thanks I'd agree with that. The game hinged on McShane's try, and to be honest I'm not sure he grounded the ball, but the ref was right there. I think Rovers reaction after that handed the game to York. They seemed to lose all interest. est I'm not sure he grounded the ball
