He’s not on their current squad list on their website. As Bert says, if he has he could well be out on loan. Hopefully to us.

Pleased to see Lannon sign on again.

He is a talented player but as Fordy alluded to if he could improve his fitness in preseason he would be even more effective.

The 2 Australians sound exciting signings. Plenty of SL teams recruit from the Queensland Cup and we've just taken 2 from the champions so hopefully not only good players but ones with experience of winning big games. 

I'm sure both likely want to put themselves in the shop window for SL teams in the future so hopefully they will tear it up for us a while first or ideally get there with us. 

I'm quite keen for us to recruit a?coach from over there too.

So we have 21 signed on so another 5 or 6 to go I believe. 

On the boundary line Fordy referenced 2 season long loans that we would like...

The obvious duo are Hirst and Sambou.. 

Could Whitehead be one if he is confirmed at Hull KR? We definitely need another loose forward..and he was a genuine positive in the 2nd half of the season.

What about Sambou x 2 - now that would be exciting to see the brothers combine..

I think Hirst will be very close to the first team at Wigan this year. There have been numerous mentions of him in various write ups

I hope so for him personally.

Byrne has gone to the Wolves.. harvie Hill to catalan and Dupree to Toulouse. 

Wilson has signed and Eseh has come back from Hull after an impressive season. Tiaka Chan has also returned from Salford. 

It's an impressive roster of forwards for sure!

It would be retrograde for him to come on a season long loan to us now. He needs to be trying to get in their first team squad. Would hope for Sambou and Whitehead.

Happy Birthday to Mike Ford today.   He is looking good for 60, it doesn't seem two minutes since he was playing for us.  

As it's a special birthday,  I don't see any announcements today.

Who knows what will happen later.. no inside information but we tend to make announcements relatively out of the blue with only short notice

There is an article out today saying Gil Dudson has been employed by a finance company.   I know he is part time and therefore it suits him , however the report makes reference to all the teams he has played for except Oldham.  There is also no mention of him still playing RL. 

Has he been spotted at training?
