So a bad day at the Office in Wales and not what we wanted but lets draw a line under that game and move on to the Midlands game which should be a cracker and hopefully we get Guy and Levi back for this one.

These are the games where the team really need our support and lets not forget this is our Charity game so lets raise plenty of money for Wasdale Mountain Rescue and with early bird tickets at just £14 not sure what more the Club can do to try and get supporters through the gate.

Get down early and have a few Pints and lets get the show back on the Road.

Let's hope the lads can put a performance in today and bring home the win. I'm sure Jonty will have the lads ready to put things right.

Let's hope for a good crowd and raise plenty of money for a worthy charity. UTT

That's more like it! Still making daft errors like kicking out on the full and incorrect PTBs but the team had a better shape to it , I dont think Dom liked being left out last week! Maybe it did him good and that right hand threat was great to watch even if Levi was nowhere near fit.

I hate going to the Rec and we dont win there but at least we're going with a good win behind us.

In the end a great result, the game turned with Dom Wears try closely followed by Jammers drop goal, Midlands heads went down , enjoyed watching our right side with Djeukessi and Atiga. Don’t think the referee liked Atiga as he penalised him a lot, how good is it see a back row and loose forward with genuine pace.
Well done Town, hopefully our dip in form is now in the past with this confidence boosting performance against one of the league’s top teams.

Unfortunately missed it as the bus to Keswick was late and missed the connection for the 1310 from Keswick. Stayed on the bus and went back to Kendal

I thought we were second best for a good portion of the match, making daft errors and conceding field position. But the lads dug in and defended their line like tigers, kept themselves in it,  and took their chances when we got them really well. Once they got back in front in the second half you could see the belief coming back.

Andy turned a dangerous overlap for them into a brilliant intercept and score. And how fast is Jebson for a forward? He took both his tries superbly. I thought Stephenson was unbelievable the work he got through. Levi was always a threat but just needs to slow down his play the balls to stop giving away pens, good to see him back though. Dom gave a peach of a pass for a try, and sold a great dummy for his own and was generally solid.

They looked to run out a of steam a bit, and their earlier efforts took their toll on them on a hot day. They had a couple of nice players who were hard to handle. They did the same couple of moves over and over and we defended them pretty well I thought. I also thought the ref was poor, very inconsistent at best.

If Jake has failed his HIA it will be a blow for next week, so fingers crossed he hasn't.

Great win against a good team and sets up next week nicely UTT.

But what do I know...

I thought the ref was ok- seen but not heard.

Wear, Atiga, Galea, Jebson all had great games.

Farrer deserves more mins for me. Always plays well but massively underused.

i enjoyed that today, Midlands were decent, but town came home strong. Roll on next week…..
