Another tight one for us I think. Such a shame that just as Farrimond was going to get a run of 6 or 7 games, he's got injured himself.

My opinion is that Farrimond is OK with ball in hand, but defensively he is physically not ready, he got knocked back time and again last week, if an injury is from last week I am not surprised at all, when there is so much talk about player welfare putting Farrimond in positions like facing Tesi Nui was a bad move by Peet.

Keighran was really good at 6 last year, and will be fine again. Being at home after an eternity away will make a massive positive difference for us. The season starts tomorrow.

A few changes to the Wigan side. Both wingers from last week miss out. Douglas returns and Wade makes his debut. Eckersley in at centre to allow Keighran to feature in the halves.

Luke Thompson is out so Havard starts and Harvey Makin looks likely to make his Wigan debut off the bench.

Not sure if the changes will help or hinder us but at least it adds some intrigue.

As it should be. Id have been really disappointed if we'd have picked Marshall and Miski again.

RU convert Christian Wade's looked willing and busy so far, but not yet had the ball in any kind of decent position.

He's playing outside Wardle, so if there is a break down that side, he stands a chance of good ball.
