Amazing atmosphere today. Credit to both sets of supporters. I’d say the Bulls following was down from the 1900 last time around to around half that. The Knights home seats were considerably fuller than the last home match against the Bulls, which helped generate a carnival atmosphere. Top of the Championship table for the first time this season. Up the Massive Knights.

Suppose some of the glory lot that went to wembley decided on a Sunday at the lner 🤷

The club have really got to make a big effort to promote the success we are  currently having. Another big game next Sunday, and Barrow won't bring a lot, so we need to engage with the York community and find a way to get 'floating' fans down to the LNER and see how well the Knights are playing.

Do you think streaming it on YouTube may have stopped  some attending? It's great for the fans who can't get to the game but it might save some from making the journey, nowt like being there though.

I know people will disagree but I think announcing attendances would help those who are thinking  about it maybe deciding to actually go. I agree the streaming could also have a effect, maybe the club should consider charging for it, say a fiver. Other clubs charge. I'd also suggest we do a 2 for 1 offer for this Sunday, that actually costs nothing, and while they are here, offer them a half price ticket for the remaining home games.Flood the media, local pubs, sports clubs and business with info.

Get the Knights success out there!

Not to mention the brass they don't  have to spend!! Unfortunately I'm sure your right about it stopping people from going. That's York people as well as away supporters.I know 1 or 2 myself who aren't going.

It's Yorks best kept secret, I know we are a bit biased but the spectacle on show week in week out is amazing. However unless you are one of the faithful you wouldn't know,  there is very little promotion that I have seen, I hear the odd thing on York Mix Radio, but not a lot else, The Press coverage is very poor, apparently yesterday, for what was really one of the matches of the season, there wasn't any coverage until well after the game. I don't know what the people of York want, The games served up this season have been thrilling and exciting to watch. there are very strong rumours that York could well be in Super League next season, will the people turn up then? Andy Atkinson does a stellar job on Radio York, his commentary is legendary for those who can't attend for one reason or another but it still isn't the same as being there. The live stream no doubt is to garner extra IMG points but are we shooting ourselves in the foot, if you are going to  stream it make people pay for it, nothing in life is free. I think Clint is doing his best to do the right thing for the fans, I know he works tirelessly in that regard and he has certainly done everything he said he would and more since taking over. All us fans need to bring a mate along and give the club the support it deserves.

It's defeating the object really, £10 a week on Sunday when we play London and we'll be lucky if we get 100 more fan's.  Probably those who usually pay on the day will use it meaning we'll lose money. I don't know what the answer is,most in Fev simply not interested.

Definitely more knights supporters yesterday than the last home game against Featherstone, can't understand myself why we can't attract more supporters to the games as it's probably one of the best teams/squads we have had for a long time.

I'm a York City and Knights season ticket holder. I've supported City since 1965 and York RL for almost as long.  However, even with City's relatively successful season I still find the Knights matches far more exciting and entertaining.

There are thousands of City supporters and other sports fans who don't know what they're missing.  Unfortunately, they don't read these forums or get the message.

Daft innit , SMC CHARGE ...yes that's right , charge us and City to report attendance . Clint has probably given them the finger , City with more money than sense will pay it. The local Press should be strung up the way we have been treated this season , they have been all over City these last two weeks and their season has yet to kick off. What has happened to our Em ? , her enthusiasm for the club and detailed reporting are sorely missed yet no info as to whether she is sick and incapable or has she left for pastures new ?. Pointless contacting Press as you just get a stock answer which tells you SFA.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Never known a season like it , bin watching since late 70's when I came out of the forces , quality team and quality opposition pushing us most weeks , far far better than SL. Stay top if we can and probably us and Fev in the Grand Final.

On a more positive note I’d say that Sundays home support was the best this season, by some way. Also, has anyone noticed there are loads more parents and children attending than ever before - all in their replica kits - the fans of tomorrow? Also, news is out there - I read the press amongst other media info - and people are awakening to the fact that we have a winning team. Expect that to have an ever increasing effect at the turnstiles. Thats without all the work the club do to promote its matches.
