I see Wakefields media team have been putting out TikTok's poking fun at Jake Connors performance in the last match, so they've probably set themselves up for egg on their face in the shape of a Jake Connor masterclass now.

Maybe, maybe not, but I guess it's about creating a story to sell the game.

We're a bit light in the forwards and looks like Cameron Smith might be out aswell.

Looking forward to visiting the upgraded stadium should be a cracking game

Not sure who the favourites are to be honest, Trueman playing is massive for Wakefield as he always plays well against Leeds

I haven't seen it, but if they have , I don't like such things. You should always respect your opponents and there are other ways to create interest.

It's a bit of nothing, Conner does a Liam Gallagher impression that seems to be aimed at Mason Lino in the last match, which is then followed by clips of Trueman turning him inside out in the first game. It's a play on the Oasis comeback.

At the risk of talking about the game and not Britpop (my era) or TikTok (really not my era), I think there will be a great atmosphere for this - glad Wakefield have bounced back and made an effort with their ground. I'm expecting a tight game but hope we'll be a couple of tries clear of the home team by the end. Jake had one dud game but I think he'll bounce back and it won't be a factor either way.

Yes should be a close hard fought game, with a great atmosphere. Hard to pick a winner.

Quite a big weekend. I don't know all the remaining fixtures but Wakefield need to rise to 6th for a playoff spot and I can't see Hull losing to Huddersfield this week or Salford the game after that...

It’ll be a close one but i think home advantage will pull us through by a late score.

Think Wakefield have another game against Huddersfield, and also two against Salford in there remaining matches, i think it will go to last match of season to see who gets 6th place.

Wonder if it could be St Helens who drop out. Still got games v Leigh, Wakefield, Hull FC, Hull KR and Wigan. Yes a few easier ones, but they're tough.

To be clear, it's an old ground when it suits, and a new ground when it suits. Don't worry, I won't tell IMG ...
