Rather closer than the score suggests with the Batley forwards on top for long spells, but their safety first, high completion rate style of play didn't really lead to any breaks in some very good line defence from Widnes.

Really like the look of Max Roberts, surely he will be picked up by a SL club if Saints don't retain him.

Sorry do you mean Will Roberts (he’s the one from Saints) rather than Max (who I think is his brother and on Widnes’ books)

I’m still hopeful we’ll be the team in 12th, therefore promoted thanks to IMG and Salfords incompetent owners.

I did, yes. Saints seem to have several really good young players at half-back, so I do wonder if they'll keep him. Same at full back, both Harry Robertson & Jon Bennison are from Widnes, maybe Saints will only have space for one rather than both?

What Bradford have done very cleverly is look at what needs to be done to gain points on the IMG table.

But we had the magician David Nofoaluma playing for us. Ive seen my fair share of flops come through the doors at Fax so its really nice to see someone of this talent playing for us week in week out. The dream would be to hang on to him next season but we will see.
