Well can we finally get a win over them?

Not sure if the playoffs are still as planned, hope so as they give our club 2 more home games and much needed revenue.

A win on Sunday would pretty much guarantee a top 4 spot, so let's get the win and by 19 I hope UTT

No idea but everytime we’re away to Dewsbury I think of going there when we won the league and we were great that day , Mulligan ripped them up and Byrne ran round in a circle  then set a try up , and we took hundreds of fans to . Good days

When they played at Mount Pleasant. The car park was full of Town buses, what an era that was!

Westfield miners welfare used to go there every year for the town match and a night at their club.

They did the reverse on our home match.

One of the reasons I chose for my annual visit the Dewsbury game but we were terrible.i7k

Safe journey down to whoever is travelling. There will be no problems getting into the car park I can assure you.

We are chasing our first treble against you.

Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

Going to take an 80 minute performance to get a result. We are more than capable, just a game at the minute as to what performance we put in.

Aye BSJ, I’ve no doubt that there’ll be any problem getting into the car park, but if we win, then getting the car out of the car park unscathed, might well be a wholly different matter. As I can attest to ( I think I still have the bill for the damage).

Can happen anywhere to be fair; my car (nowt special ) got keyed in a co-op car park in Egremont and dented in a cafe car park in Aviemore. Aye and normally them folk from Yorkshire are such a nice bunch as well 😉

Yes , it can happen anywhere,  but I’m talking about one of our rare wins in Dewsbury, my car was parked right by the secretary’s office under the main stand as I was still an official then and my driver’s wing mirror was hanging down by the wiring. But the worst was the reaction in the office when I to.d them, it was basically “bu**er off”. I’ve never said about this to anyone but Kenny Wilson who taped up the wiring, until BSJ came up with his “assurances”. No thank you.

Well I guess it was nothing to do with BSJ,,,,,,,, though I suppose his name might be a giveaway?

Loads of pace and power out wide including the backrowers .I've only recently seen what Ainley brings to the team , I thought he was gonna bring more but the last few games it's been his ability to get a quick PTB and thats a massive asset. We're actually looking at who to leave out, which is testament to our recruitment mid season.

Ross does some brilliant work, a lot of which goes unnoticed, he's got better and better as the seasons gone on, hopefully will be tied down for next year if he's not already.

Yeah I agree about Ainley, probably unfairly through my own ignorance I was expecting a different player from what the Haven fans described. But he has definitely shown the player that was raved about recently.

I think we have the team to beat the rams today, let's hope the lads can cut out the mistakes and bring home the win. Should be a good game.

Rams 16 Town 28 UTT

But what do I know about rugby league.

The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!
