On the bright side, it was a nice first visit, a nice set up and everyone was very welcoming.

As a team we were totally outplayed and the desire wasn't there compared to North Wales. We had so much of the play in the first 30 mins, and didn't produce any sort of threat. Individual errors crept in on defense and for the last 20 mins players just seem to do what they wanted in attack with no structure. Makes Rochdale a must win game now

Another blank weekend for Swinton supporters. What a pity the management decided to announce all the players signed on for next season at the presentation evening after the Rochdale game. If they had stuck to the original plan to announce throughout August there would have been something to keep the interest and digital engagement of supporters during quiet times. I thought getting people to engage on social media was part of the grading set up. Yet another missed opportunity.

Blank weekend for all in league 1…whose idea was it to have a bye weekend with three weeks left and fan interest at its highest? We will never know because you have more chance having the Kremlin explain their actions than the RFL.

I said the same on facebook, I query our commercial acumen sometimes. Unfortunately they seem to think knowledge is power and we should just do what we are told. I think I feel more disconnected then the club then ever and have missed more games this season then ever before, even the Gigg lane years. I brought a season ticket just to provide the club with the income, but then they moved some of the games to 2pm to accommodate the women's games, I take my daughter swimming and struggle to make the 2pm kick off so wont be bothering buying one next year.

I have to agree about the current use of "social media" which I do not like and don't use - it is probably an age thing. This season my enthusiasm for the club has definitely waned from last season, due in part to the lack of fixtures I guess.

I hope next season the Championship and League 1 are merged in a sensible way - that would be a first for the RL, its critical that all clubs outside SL can agree a league structure that allows sufficient fixtures and competitive matches, so that interest grows and doesn't continue to decline.

I also think clubs outside SL have to start working together in a manner that helps all clubs to prosper and not just survive because I doubt whether any clubs will be allowed in to SL after this season..............unless they rename them selves  Bradford Bulls 🙂

I understand fully the reason for the club having 2pm kick off's Mark, but they are no use to me either. I mind my youngest Grandson on a Sunday morning while the other 2 play football. The parents don't get back until 11.45 earliest and 12.30 latest, then, trying to get there on public transport from Winton is useless. I just made the first 2pm kick off but have not bothered since, and I really wanted to see the Rochdale game next week. Like Wayne, the lack of fixtures leads me to find other things to do on Sundays as well. RL was my life for years but I seem to have less interest every season now. I've only watched 3 amateur games this season. I started to fall out with the game 25 years ago though, when I decided I could not watch Super Greed any more? Maybe I'm an old Luddite but RL is nothing like the game, or game experience, I remember when I was attracted to it in the 70's.

I feel disconnected too, even though I run the family page and I'm involved in pridebuilder. Can't really explain it. There are some reasons which would be wrong to share on a forum but the thrill and excitement has gone most weeks. We've consistently struggled to score tries and lack any real fire power. Some strong recruitment is required to reignite the match day experience.
