The new name for Castleford's Wheldon Road:

Castleford Tigers have announced that their stadium will change name to the ‘OneBore Stadium’ after a new partnership was agreed between them and a local company to sponsor them for the next two seasons, including in their centenary year in 2026.

OneBore is actually better than the Mend-a-Hose Jungle or the ProBiz Coliseum. I mean it is still cringe but it's an improvement.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

YES! We no longer have the most ridiculous stadium name in SL.

Disagree. Castleford should be commended for managing to get anyone to sponsor their ground: its a charming place but of a bygone era. St Helens have a first rate facility which could be an attractive sponsorship proposition for a range of companies, not just ones with daft names.

You've gotta love English haven't you? Just change the spelling a little bit but pronounced just the same and you've got one of the coolest Stadium names: OneBoar Stadium.

I mean, get a boar on that field at halftime and it can have a fight with the resident tiger and you've got some serious entertainment!

Total disaster - who do I go to now to get my hose mended ?

Funnily enough I always recommend Pirtek to the many HGV drivers (Mainly grain tippers) who require repairs whilst delivering to my place of work.  Our Engineers, who generally aren't too bothered, will also do this whenever possible for me.

I obviously now need to check up on alternative hole boring companies , just in case.

I've always meant to ask a Fev fan - did you enjoy your year at Post Office Road being the Chris Moyles Stadium ?

At least Totally Wicked is relatable to the man in the street. How many people will see Cas on the telly and rush out to have a tunnel bored in the back garden?

Fev fans, going above and beyond "I'd draw the curtains if they were playing in my back garden" 😆

Perhaps a new poster around town showing their star player westerman, doing some hole boring may drum up interest

He has an exclusive contract with Pontefract Greggs......

Onebore unto the breach dear fans

Looking at the Cas defensive line at the weekend, they really didn't look like "Greyhounds straining in the slips" 😄

Totally Wicked is by far the worst in SL - and being linked with an addictive product probably doesn't help attract other sponsors to the club.

Yeah and then I think about how the NRL was financed for decades by pokie clubs or whatever
