Kick off's now put back to 7pm (UK time) because it's expected to be quite warm on Saturday.

For me only two games either way, Barrow v Widnes and  Doncaster v Fev,both should be good games. Others seem pretty straight forward.

I'm going to agree with most other posters this week:

Toulouse Olympique v Sheffield Eagles
Barrow Raiders v Widnes Vikings
Batley Bulldogs v Oldham
Doncaster v Featherstone Rovers
Halifax Panthers v Hunslet
York Knights v London Broncos

Fair play to the hardy knot of Eagles fans clearly audible singing "You're supposed to be at home" to the Toulouse fans. 10-6 to TO after 22 mins.

Now 34-6 to Toulouse, the feed has repeatedly gone back a few seconds though and must be around 5 minutes behind "live" now.

This was their "home", subtleties are lost sometimes in the translation.

Toulouse 58 Sheffield 6 ft. Sheffield had more of a dig than the score suggests but fell away as Toulouse scored 6 tries in the last 25 minutes.

Températures topped 40 dégrées and remained at 33 dégrées at the end of the game. The difference in fitness levels was the reason for the exagerrated score line. Rennie, Ulberg, Marion, Stefani and Butler to name a few looked as fit at the end as they did at the kick-off.
Sheffield looked good first half but squandered chances.

For the the first minutes they had a go but in the second half they were nowhere near. I don’t suppose the conditions helped but that is the same for both teams, although the Toulouse players were probably more used to the heat.

You can get used to the heat a little bit, but it's been over 40 for the last week or so and that doesn't help training. The schedule gets messed up when you can't really do much between 11h00 and 18h00. There is a big change coming next week, not nearly so hot. It should be relatively cool for the York match next friday.

Me and the wife off to watch Batley v Oldham. Should've been on a coach to Salford so taking advantage of Batley £10 in offer. Looking forward to it.

Enjoy, you will know its a good day there.

The fitness levels of all teams seem to be higher than ever. Of all the teams to have played at TO this season only Oldham and Sheffield yesterday really faded. London played in 38° in June at 1800 and looked in good shape. Fev and Donny came down in July and didnt seem too bothered.
The température will drop to about 28° for the York game which will be over 10° lower than v Sheffield, still warm but manageable for players and fans alike.
