No chickens being counted here.

Don't blame you but this York side is special this year and play as a team.

Bulls v Toulouse - Hoping for a Toulouse win with a narrow score line.

Point difference -

York Knights - 369

Bradford - 290

Toulouse - 249

Just keeps that points difference healthy.

Can't see Toulouse beating Bradford after watching them get beat by us last weekend thought Toulouse were poor except for the first 20minutes against us,but after that we were easily the better team.

Well, you got your wish. Checked out the score when it was 10 - 10 with a few minutes to go. Thought a draw might have been a nice result for us, both chasers losing ground, but heigh-ho. Points difference intact so could (definitely could, not crossing any chickens/counting any bridges) claim the shield next week.

Onwards and upwards.

Toulouse last two games are Batley at home followed by Hunslet away, so their points difference will probably be given a big boost from those. If we win our last 2 games, then points difference won't come into the equation.

Another advantage we have, is that Toulouse play both their games the day before the Knights, so we'll know exactly where we stand when we kick off.

The pressure is on Toulouse, it all depends which team turns up with them this season, I can’t see a Batley win but hopefully they will give it a good go and keep the margin down, sadly I can only see a cricket score at the South Leeds Stadium, it shouldn’t matter anyway as long as the Gallant Knights do the business like they have been doing. You can’t take anything for granted though - different ballgame I know but look at Man U v Grimsby who would have dared predict that?

Bulls got a penalty at the hooter on the half way line but dragged it wide otherwise it could of been 12-12.

I see there were 4500 there and 2500 at Oldham.

Regarding attendance, could the club not tap into the York City FC fan base and offer free\£10 entry to YCFC season ticket holders for the Batley game? they may buy a beer and pie as well so brings in the money and adds to the atmosphere\IMG attendance numbers.

Oldham offered Salford Red Devil fans free entry to their game.

Most of them aren't old enough to buy a beer, they've watched Green Street and think they are all 'ard geezers

I don't want to count any any chickens but a win at Donny on Sunday will all but clinch the league leaders shield. Could Sunday see the biggest army of Knights take to the roads and rail since 1981? Gonna be a huge, gonna be massive, gonna be ‘noisy’. Don’t miss it for the world. Up the Super Knights!
