It is all about jumping through the hoops set up by IMG to get better grading. Every interaction on social media helps so it makes sense to get people coming back for regular updates. I think I saw Higham and Briers had signed again.

yes and there was some more jumping yesterday as the club announced that Jamie Reddecliff,  Reece Briers and Harry Higham have resigned.

I just had to wait eagerly for the announcement on Instagram - sorry for the sarcasm 🙂

Got told by a lad who went watching St judes that Connor Parkinson has signed for us

Tom Ratchford added, he was on loan at Rochdale last season (2024) and has come through the Wigan youth system

Sorry to see Abram and Paga leave.

I think Lynch has had little opportunity and clearly needs to be at a club where he will get game time.

I haven't been monitoring too closely but it seems there are plenty of new forwards of the young and hopefully improving kind that have joined the pack where the more experienced players in the team are already in place. Not so much cover/experience for the back line. I hope there might be one or two more to come there.

So is that 24 players now signed - focus clearly on youth again as it worked well this season - but I think in a combined division next season its going to be a lot harder - I would have liked to have seen an experienced centre and winger in the squad but I guess recruitment is still ongoing.

Definitely need some strike power adding in the three quarters and cover at half back

Would appear the strategy of recruiting young players with potential is being followed again for 2026 - but a combined championship will be a different prospect and I think a young team (especially in the back line) may well struggle so as Mark  R says it would be good to sign some experience players to add to the backline.

Danny Lynch signs for Rochdale, I only saw him in one game so not enough to judge on anything
