The Panthers lie in the final playoff 6 th place with 11 wins,1 draw, 9 defeats.They started with 6 straight wins followed by a spell of 1 win in 9 but have picked up recently with 4 wins from the last 6.Very much in the playoff hunt they  have 2 big games at home to Widnes and away at the Dons to finish the regular season.The Raiders will want to finish their home fixtures with a win following their worst spell of the season(1 win in 6)

Wilko is a top lad who would  be in the 17 every week If I had the choice, I thought he’d been injured the last few weeks that’s why he’s not been in the squad.

According to a Raiders staffer, "He's never shown his face at the Club in a long while". 

I've noticed when he was subbed, he takes it personally....

Understandable with injuries, however that was one of the worst performances I've seen from a Barrow team in 30+ years. Serious recruitment needed for next season.

Credit to Halifax they were well up for it and clinical.

We were very disappointing,whoever picked King as MOM must have been on the p*** since midday,never seen him miss as many tackles!

He just signed a lucrative 2-year deal - so no need to bother today. Not just him - our halves have minimal creativity compared to other teams. Not just them - our forwards rarely make any breaks and are rarely able to cross the goal-line from 5 metres out. Overall our plays are too slow and predictable - sorry Cresta that's on you with 351 games under your belt.

I'm sorry who's stealing a wage? Win away at Doncaster who probably have a playing budget double ours and radio silence on this forum. Get beat at home and people come on wanting to clear the squad out. There hasn't been many games this year where I felt we didn't have a go, we have been outclassed a few games but you can't say people have 'stolen a wage.' If you compared wage bills between sides we have been playing you would not be saying our lads are stealing one. 

People moaning about not looking threatening in attack today. We were missing both wingers, our best attacking centre, our first choice hooker and our first choice scrum half. How on earth are people surprised when we don't look slick? 

Halifax were superb and unfortunately we were flat from the beginning. We looked like a tired side and got punished for it. 

The team have done really well and generally have been competing in a mini league with Doncaster, Fev, Widnes and Halifax all season and we have just fallen short. At the start of the season no one would have put us anywhere near those sides. 

It's been a good season. We have run out of gas. Most people would have taken finishing outside the bottom 4 (which has now turned out to be pretty much pointless) but we basically secured our status in the league months ago which is a credit to the club.

King is nowhere near being match fit and has been struggling since he came back into the squad. Don't know why Delaine didn't get a game today?? Doesnt fit in I guess??

Also what's happened to Silva and Rothwell???

Hopefully Tom Wilkinson hasn't thown a hissy as he's a workhorse when picked

Silva went back to Castleford, but he can't get selected. Rothwell was injured, assume he still is.

No one in our squad is stealing a wage. In my eyes, whenever anyone plays, they give their all, and that is all you can ask.
There is however some players that do not have the required quality to take us forward. 
If we can add the same quality this off-season as we did last we will be well on our way to addressing that, but for me, the most crucial area to improve is at half back. We need a consistent and quality half back in my opinion, as we are crying out for more creativity in the side. Bishop has been a good addition, Johnson and Walker are too hot and cold to rely on, one more of quality would make a real difference

Bit harsh to suggest players stealing a wage ,think we're at that time of year,part of the comp where injuries have hit,some are playing carrying injuries.

Unless youve got a big squad it's going to take effect .

Even if we had beat Halifax and Sheffield it's pretty unlikely We'd have made the play offs anyway so there is naturally a small feel of after the lord mayors show , no player goes out to play badly , especially in front of 2k ISH people ,just doesn't happen.

Start of year club was nailed on with the bookies to be in the non existent bottom 8s,again clubs proven doubters wrong .

Simple fact is we're trying to compete with clubs with budgets 4 times the size of ours ,some of these clubs carry a 30 man squad ,we're not in a position to persistently compete over a full season ,although we have rolled some of the big guns .

Hate to say it but there are factions of our fanbase that have unrealistic expectations,or are simply deluded.

Stealing a wage is a bit harsh, but there are well paid members of the squad who we don't get value for money from.
