Seriously 250 tickets??

I suspect it's a ploy to drive a few early ticket sales.

Even with the shambolic state of our "stadium", there's no way we're getting near capacity.

Haven't they sorted underneath the  stand yet  ? If not it's diabolical and amuterish, NEEDS sorting asap !

It seems very strange plus shoehorning us in a corner of the the ground.

Widnes fans didn't complain on here,it is what it is sadly. Why it can't be sorted before Sunday is beyond me.

Not complaining, just seems strange when every club needs as much income as possible  and you have a ground with a capacity of 8000 less the stand closed?

Yeah - it's Featherstone, couldn't run a p up in a brewery lately, and we're crying out for more fans £££££.

Calm.😉

I'm pretty sure that no Oldham fan will have any problem getting a ticket online or paying on the day.

I'm also pretty sure that no Oldham fan will have any problem getting access to the area of the ground they choose to sit or stand in.

Even with one stand hors de combat, and a "traditional" terrace at the bottom end, it's still a proper RL ground. You'll be most welcome, and it should be a really good game. If it's anything like the reverse fixture at Boundary Park, it'll be a cracker.

You will obviously be able to move around if you wish. Weren't Fev fans in one corner at Boundary Park.? For me it makes for better atmosphere if away support is in in one section anyway. Just come along and enjoy a proper rugby league ground despite it's present problems. Remember you recently moved from White bank😏

I've turned this into the match thread.

Sounds like Glover and maybe Turner are out.

The players who missed out v Sheffield were Jubb, Springer, Wynne and Hardcastle.

Don't know the extent of Turners injury he was in pain and they got an ice pack straight on to his left knee.I think he will play even if only 80% fit.Might need a brace on his knee and pain killing injections but he will play.

Paul Cooke said in his post-game interview that they would have to get Turner's knee scanned and "I dare say season's probably done."

Prove me wrong, but you'll never bring 250 to Featherstone.

Certainly won't bring over 300 imho

I just think Oldham might for this, strong season back in the championship for quite a while, last regular season game for them (they have the bye next week), which if they can win and Bradford drop 3 or 4 points would allow them to pinch 3rd spot, one close league game earlier in the season and a semi-final loss to us denying them a trip to Wembley. All adds up to a decent showing from the Oldham fan base for me.

I'm sure I'll think of something funny to say soon.

For a team doing so well and have Super League aspirations - I would expect to see a minimum of 500. Let's see what they bring.

Come Sunday, the last time Oldham beat Featherstone at POR was exactly 22 years ago,  Oldham victorious by 19 points to 14.  It's a long time between drinks!

Some real battles especially in the 80s and 90s against Oldham, including the excellent Division 2 Final at Old Trafford.

It's a little bit of a dead rubber for us as its unlikely we'll go above Bradford and can't go any lower than 4th.  So probably the usual 300-400 away fans we've had all season.  If we did go above Bradford we could end up playing Toulouse away which would be a nightmare to arrange at less than a weeks notice!  So, even though it would be tougher at least we could get to York away if we won our playoff match.

Don't worry about having to go to Toulouse! Bradford's final game is at home to Fev and we haven't got any halfbacks or our best centre!

Indeed - 2019 for instance, from memory it was something like, fly out to Toulouse and beat them in the semi on the Sunday night, convoluted set of flights getting us back to Bristol on the Tuesday, then a coach journey to Yorkshire, fly out to Toronto 2 days later, play them in the Final on the Saturday.
