Very interesting podcast well worth a listen one thing I did pick up on don’t know if Mike got his days mixed up or not but he said the first play off date was the 19th which is Friday

I wondered if they are playing the playoff on a Friday.

Possibly means beginning the weekend of, with opponents and specific date tbc.

Very much doubt they would be daft enough to move to the Friday as this is the final round of SL with a full fixture list al playing at 8pm. Surely playing on the Sunday would make far more sense.

Excellent podcast and Mike Ford comes across really well. Sounds like Oldham behind the scenes are being very level headed regarding this whole Super League / Championship malarky for 2026 and also for how the club will move forward over the coming years. I think the future looks bright whatever league we are in with the current regime in charge!!!

Mike is great value and very articulate...despite nearly forgetting who we beat last Sunday!
