HKR at home should win this easily.

Everything points to a Hull KR win. If we were close to full strength it would have been a belter, but we just have too many big players sat in the stand now. We will get stuck in to them though and if nothing else I expect they will know they've been in a game. Not only is it a Derby but it's probably the last hurrah for our playoff hopes. But no matter how much we want it I just dont think we've got enough.

All we ask of our team is effort and pride in the shirt.  They haven't let us down in  either and I expect the same at the weekend.  We will start as massive underdogs with half our first teamers sitting in the stand, but thosr that run out will give it everything.  From a very low base, we've had a good season and can look forward to better times in 2026.

Hull are missing Pryce, Barron, Ese'Ese, Knight, Cartwright and Asiata. All in the first choice 17, and all very important players for us. Plus a couple of fringe players missing who would have got a game here.

By my reckoning, at least 6 of the game day 17 will be aged 22 or under, and 12 of the 21 man squad are Hull FC academy products.

I don’t think you’ve got much to brag about. Squad of championship players last year and you still lost nearly 900k. It’s all irrelevant if you’ve got owners willing to absorb it I suppose.

It also depends if that on-paper loss was used to purchase long term assets for the club. I'm not an expert, but I don't think any club in the league, or at least their supporters, are in any position to crow about this. I am sure that most have high losses.

Hull KR have 1.1million cash in the bank whereas Hull FC have $1,900 cash in the bank.

My point being, it pretty much doesn't mean anything at this moment in time.

That explains why diesel was 149.9p per litre at Sewell's on Holderness Road this morning and 135.6p at the garage in Bilton.
