Next season 2026

Now the season is done and look like going to 1 league next season how does everyone think we need to strengthen to compete with the already championship teams and what players would people like brought it

A couple of strike players and a couple of middles with grunt. To come on to get the team up the field, maybe a fui fui moi moi type player.

Big middles who bend the line definitely, one thing you notice moving up in level

Yeah definitely lack big old school type forward but to be honest I wouldn't like to pick a forward who wouldn't make our team next season because all have been outstanding

Two centres and a 2nd row. However each member of the squad have contributes this year and deserve a crack

Hopefully second rowers will be Caine Barnes,Jake Bradley and Mason Lewthwaite.

Is there any word on Caine is he gna give it another go or is that him finished if not Lennon clark would be perfect fit but I'm sure alot off clubs will be after him

it has for the fellas granted but the lasses still have a possibly 4 matches left and are guaranteed 3 (2 in the league and a play off game) at home on Sunday to Stanningley should be a belter they’ve been going good this season.

Yeah, as has been said if we keep the core of our squad a couple of big props to get us out from our line, a hooker, a centre, and winger. I suppose it depends who we lose. Let's just hope Jonty is OK to carry on at the helm as its been good to have him back yam, but obviously his health comes first.

Hear all sorts of things at work, the reliable folk say Haven might take as many as 4 or 5 off us. Apparently the purse strings have loosened at the wreck and the noisy neighbours are banging their drums again. 

Anyone got a list of who is already signed up next year?

I imagine they’ll only take peripheral players? Ciaran Walker I’ve heard is going.

Got 3 up to press can't see being anymore . Probably all surplus to town next season.  All 3 will definitely improve us . You lot will be fine next season ash will get you 3 or 4 overseas players like he did with us. Got more quality ones for us than duffers

Yeah Gebbie definitely ripping it up in the Championship this season.

I know there will be polls and supporters awards etc. Just wondering who people think are in with a shout of player of the year? I'd imagine there could be quite a long list for people to pick from

Jake Carter for me. Zarrin and Levi are the excitement machines but Jake has absolutely bossed this team once he settled. Its his team, he controls everything, it all goes through him and he has excelled.

Dom has improved with every match, although top 4 have to be Zarrin, Jake, Levi and Jack for me , UTT

I agree with DKW on his choice,Jake has solidfied the team and thats what was needed.Zarrin has to run a close 2nd, and Levi deserves an award big time,Jack has been a standout performer in the 2nd row but you could give the whole team an award for their performances this year and without a few blips along the way we at town would have won the league.UTT

I think we need 2 wingers and a centre for certain, get Levi in the centres and a fast winger outside of him. I know Sean is back around town but I think that's probably a holiday rather than to play, not sure if he's even played since leaving time last time out 

I'd defo be trying to get some of the loanees back on a permanent basis, Lennon, Zak and Andy without a doubt
