What is wrong with the Eagles Coaches and Directors??

Looks like the coaching and directors are yet again at it with Eagles supporters, been verbally abusive blocking entry at Hunslet, this follows weeks of abuse from the coaching staff.. And other supports at the game have confirmed this on FB and X

Something is seriously toxic at the Eagles and at this rate our fanbase will be 4 happy clappers at the SCS.. 

The club I have supported for the past 30+years seems to be self imploding at a rate of knots... T

From reports of fans this has been going on for the past few games.. 

I hope the fans involved and the club themselves are reporting to the RFL, as this is in clear breach of the RESPECT code..

So no actual facts then? All of these allegations come from anonymous sources. Last week it was Featherstone players arguing with fans. This week, it's coaches and directors fighting with players.

It's nonsense, isn't it?

Some on X have confirmed what has gone on.. 

I do wish it was untrue, but I have no reason to doubt those who have posted it, as they sort of gave there identity away lol

Have they? Ive searched Sheffield Eagles on twitter and I've seen the post by MozzaEV (which i presume is you) which is basically the same as the first post on here with the "Anonymous Member" post (which looks like a facebook post) but other than that I cannot see anything else on X about this.. oh and shame on you for making me look at X which is a cess pit of the worst of humanity at the moment!

I can’t see anything either and I personally wasn’t at Hunslet.

But the post from “anon” says blocking, blocking from where or what? Wouldn’t the security at Hunslet have made a report about this? They are supposed to be responsible for everyone’s safety. If so then the RFL etc could act of the facts. Because the RFL have been tagged into a tweet maybe the’ll act anyway, let’s hope that the facts don’t point to Sheffield fans as being the cause as by and large are we are quite well behaved. 

I personally haven’t seen any instances of abuse at the SCS from Eagles staff, 3rd party security on the other hand have been very officious to say the least.

We are indeed a very friendly bunch of people down at the SCS, so as I said I hope it's not true, as its totally against our club ethos

"He blocked me" = "I wanted to hit someone and he stood in my way"

Blocking is a defensive action. Not aggressive.

Not getting involved with this. But I will just say Sheffield Eagles are a brilliant family club. With excellent staff on and off the pitch.

That's the sort of thing I'd imagined.. someone desperate to "speak their mind" and "I'll say what I want to say and don't care if it upsets someone"... The same as people shouting "free speech" without realising it has consequences.

It is indeed but my Twitter feed is for professional work only, and is locked as I said and it does have mozza in it, but is linked to astrophysics (as it was my nickname at school)...

It was also screenshoted by SheffEaglesNews...

so thats 2 twitter accounts and someone on facebook.. not massively comprehensive i'd say. 

I havent been to a game this year becuase I dont like the attitude of a number of very vocal very gobby fans that just want to complain and moan. It was unbearable towards the end of last season with some peoples attitudes and when having people say "do give it a rest" (paraphrased) them getting really annoyed about "have my say." Frankly it was obnoxious. If theyre getting on like that to the staff then I can understand the staff getting annoyed, they are doing their job. These same people are why there need to be signs in Doctors and Hospitals about respecting the staff IMHO

I agree, I don’t think it’s you.

However I do think that the headline of this post could be interpreted as a bit inflammatory as you weren’t there to see what went off. And reposting and tagging on X isn’t that good either.
