HMRC have filed for it. Yet the club have reportedly signed at least 22 players for next season, and they've just today asked fans which shirt design do they prefer. I'm sure there'll be some statement from the club shortly.

Really?

In related news, I noticed a question was asked about this on the Blue Wall's Voice Facebook group, which was then deleted. It's a shame that it has become a PR arm of the club rather than a platform to get actual answers.

The club needs to sort it self out, cut costs and run with a team which can be afforded. This has been an issue for well over a year and predates Paddy’s involvement.

👍 definitely.

The club has debts running over the last two or three years due to overspending on players to achieve the SL dream.I don't know the exact amount and if any have been settled or written off.But a conservative guess would be over £1-25 million up to  £2 million. We may have pledge land around the stadium to cover some of the debt. The club keeps financial matters to themselves, which to a point i can understand. It is not a good look in business to advertise you are skint.I suppose the matter with HMRC may be settled but how can the club move forward with such a burden weighing them down.

I’m surprised that the press after got hold of this, or perhaps we are so insignificant these days, that no one except us is interested. Along with all previous issues, maybe some clear communication from the club might help,as opposed to trying to surpress information.

With you on this Steven, thought Callum Walker or John Davidson would be all over this!

John Davidson loves to see a lower league club struggle. Surprised he isn't all over it.

Out of interest, where has the club tried to suppress information?

If the club is struggling to pay bills at the moment, I'm not sure that going public with that would be net beneficial - it would immediately lead to a string of negative stories by the RL journalists (as others have said, I'm surprised this thread hasn't alerted them, though there's still time), that's not going to help in terms of attracting sponsors etc.

The winding up order is in the public demain. Just my view that it would be better to address the situation, with a statement, rather than allow rumours etc to be spread.

Again - where has the club tried to suppress information? It's my view that you should address that situation, rather than allow rumours etc to be spread...

Posts on Facebook. But hey that’s, more important than the club being subject to a Winding Up Order by HMRC. Maybe if we all prentend that there aren’t any financial issues, that might miraculously disappear. Anyway, I’m not looking to fall out with anyone, so won’t post on this subject again.

Which one? There was one that disappeared on the BWV page, but that might easily have been deleted by the author, and there's another thread on the same page that's been up for a couple of days.

As a fan, I'm concerned about our financial situation, as a lot of us will be, the club was fairly open about it at the fans' forum earlier this year. But I don't really want the club to publicise every negative financial situation it might find itself in, I don't see any upside in that and plenty of downside.

John Davidson has gone into full detail haha not literally copied and pasted a old article he released and added they have been hit with winding up order on top of it 😂😂

Davidson loves a Fev Story. Obviously a negative one. Alas, if you question him, he blocks you on twitter.
