No Connor for Leeds and they've rested Miller and Hall, so alongside the other absentees, it looks like they've not placed too much importance on the game. On the flip side, Wigan have named probably the strongest squad I can remember in a very very long time, with everyone available bar Tom Forber (who obviously wouldn't play anyway).

I think Wigan will win this comfortably - Leeds seem to be prioritising players fully recovering for the play offs rather than pushing for 3rd, which in truth Leigh will probably wrap up against Giants in any case. A hammering won't be good preparation though, especially after last weeks performance v Cats. Strange that from Wigan's perspective there could be nothing riding on this either, if HKR have already won, so it could be played at a very strange tempo/intensity where neither team wants to risk injuries being the key priority.

Leeds doing the right thing in resting key players here, can’t see anything but a Wigan win in what is essentially a dead rubber.

I’m not fussed about the result more interested in the effort from Leeds

Wigan by 20 and a mass brawl sees half a dozen players from each side get 3/4 week bans.

And to be replaced by Salford and Huddersfield in the playoffs! 😉😇

There is a key difference in that Wigan will have a week off next week, whereas Leeds will play, which is reflected in the squads. Wigan presumably are wary of giving people 2 weeks off, and Leeds are happy to rest players.

Are Leeds resting Jack Smith for this one?

Comfortable Wigan win. And probably a closer Wigan win at old Trafford between these two sides.

I think dropping down to 4th has helped Leeds’ chances of making the final by a fair bit.

My thoughts exactly.

Wigan will have been hoping that this could be a chance to nab the LLS up until the end of last night's Hull KR game. Could be a downer.
