With Cas "upgrading" their admittedly dated club badge, just got me wondering who else in the league probably needs bringing into modern times.

I know a few clubs have had some rebrands recently to incorporate the digital era we live in. Hull KR, Wigan, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Leigh and even Salford have. York (potentially SL soon) also had a huge launch of theirs recently.

Saints, Warrington and Catalans had changes in less recent years. Catalans was definitely an improvement. The other 2 are naff. St Helens had a great recognisable logo that they made worse, and Wire's was replacing poor with poor.

That leaves Leeds and Hull, who probably need a bit of modernisation to say the least. Leeds doesn't really lend itself to digital imagery, and Hull isn't very recognisable or inspiring to be audiences I guess.

So I guess if I had to have a top 3 to update:

1. Leeds

2. Warrington

3. Hull

(Saints should just go back to the old logo!).

AI at the ready, folks! Only done Warrington because I ran out of free credits! Here's what I got for Warrington after a few tweaks:

Pretty much the same.

It's a hard one, the Hull badge. As a Hull fan, I'm not really sure what I want on it. I mean, how can you make an Airlie Bird look good in a logo and not like a penguin?!

It's just a black and white version of the council logo.

I bet that little blue patch really bugged you, didn't it 🤣

Here's what I got for Leeds. It's hard to get a rhino that doesn't look cheesy.

Isn't Airlie bird just a fictional thing created from Airlie street?

Needs more mane? I just based it off the original SL triangle logo.

Yes. It's just a play on "Early Bird".

Bit hard to incorporate into a logo!

This is what I got before I ran out of credit to edit it, which it suggested itself. Thought it was quite a unique idea (obviously not the finished article, and in true AI fashion it removed a crown!).

If Warrington spend a single minute worrying about the badge* this close season, instead of sorting out the team and improving the matchday experience, I'll be down at the HJ with a pitchfork.

*especially if they turned it into one of Wellsy's foxes

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Seems now in football that the Premier League clubs are selling and using multiple club badges both home and away.

I must admit the one above has always been my favourite but I don’t know if there’s a an IP copyright situation with the TV programme from the 70s it was swiped from.

Would love it as the badge on an alternate throwback kit though.

When I’ve bought Saints merch in the past it’s always this I look out for.

I have come to the conclusion that all four badges look pretty nasty.

Tbf Wakefield dropped Wildcats and that badge years ago.
