you'd like to think if Abdo has confirmed it will go ahead then it will... I know what you mean about the club but surely if the NRL want it to happen then it happens..

Sounds good, but I think the Clubs have a lot of power, the Bronco’s do seem like a Club that will be up for it.

I wonder why Vlandy’s and Abdo didn’t make Penrith play last year?

Penrith played in Vegas  and was a complication in arranging a date for the match.

I was going to leave it til after the GF, as it did feel pointless discussing potential issues for KR until we know if it'll even be them playing WCC, but seen as the conversation is happening. For me they def should play it at MKM - I get it's FC's home ground but it's not like they own it and would have to go and ask permission from their rivals - I'm sure the council would be happy and any football fixtures could be re-arranged.

The date it's played is arguably the bigger task to agree upon. I'm pretty sure with the move to 14 teams we don't even know when SL will start, but let's assume it'll mid Feb based on this year. To give enough time for KR to play the WCC and get out for Vegas it can only really be played weekend of 21st Feb? That should work for Brisbane as well with the NRL in Aus not actually starting til 5th March.

I would guess, that if 14 the season would start beginning of Feb. Especially as next year the international football break is going to be 1 3 week chunk (mid Sept I heard). The problem could be the rearranged game, Rovers only had 2 weekends off this year (split and 1st play off rd).

As for the date, from what I heard it is going to be the week before Vegas,so 21st.

I have generally found that Abdo's comments are far more reliable than V'landys.

Would make sense. Should easily sell this out with Rovers fans, neutrals and Broncos-for-a-day fans.

Will there be T Shirts for us?

This world was never meant for one as beautiful as me.

Does Craven Park have under-soil heating? That always used to be a requirement for hosting the WCC.

It won't be there ,not big enough. Talk already about using Hull fc's  ground.

I personally wouldn't  like it at the Mkm very little money to be made as we would only get gate receipts minus stadium rental costs.

Having it at Craven park with temporary stands may only reach 12,500 capacity it would allow us maximise profit from food and drink make Craven street a real party.

Loads of articles in different media outlets over here regards will there/ won`t there be a WCC next year and a very positive take on the whole thing. Great to see.

Think that's similar to the reason Leeds chose Headingley over Elland Road in the end.

Depends how big a temp stand you can get at CP I guess. And if it is big, wouldn't that eat into Craven StrEat food end?

We have plenty of room behind East stand which was used for Coldplay concert food and drink area.

Could even put up a giant marquee so good no matter the weather with live bands b4 and after.
