There's a coach running from Widnes too I believe. It does seem to be attracting a lot more interest than some previous events - perhaps the Ashes effect?

Obviously, Hull KR are a new team competing for the WCC so that has an effect.

However, I think the Broncos are the glamour club of RL with some of the biggest names. This game would sell out if it'd been against a team like Manly or Wests but I'm not sure there'd have been coaches from Widnes etc.

My younger bro was never a big RL fan as a kid but has suddenly started watching NRL highlights and is in awe of the Broncos. I dare say if it hadn't been on a Thursday night, he'd have been up for going.

Id say the Aussies just being here and Reece Walsh helps a lot too.

Went on sale to people who’d signed up for the pre-sales window an hour ago, and there’s now only singles left, less than twenty I’d say.

I think Hull KR deserve congratulations from everyone in the game, not just for selling out the WCC but for the smart way they promoted and organised the sale of tickets.

We will have an interview with the club CEO Paul Lakin in tomorrow's League Express.

Hang on, the last time you demanded we congratulate someone, it was the fella from Salford. Made me dubious now.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

I think we're on slightly safer ground this time.

Brilliant effort to sell out in a few days! Probably could have got 35-40k IMO, lots of very interested Rovers fans (at least the 20k who attended the GF), and lots of interested neutrals who want to see Brisbane. Great stuff!

Bullocks. Forgot about the 12pm opening time.

Great effort to see a full house though.

Brisbane have 2 blocks to sell in the South East corner, I think it’s possible we might see some more tickets become available if they don’t need all of them.

Wonderful news. But I am going to draw on my inner Rugby League fan and say it won't be a patch on Wigan vs. Manly... no biff, expensive pints, no proper scrums, can't change ends at half time, kids these days don't respect their elders and don't want want to do a hard days work, they want avocado toast and fancy coffees, we used to respect a Bobby on the beat and when he clipped our ear we knew we had to behave, we used to roam the fields and didn't have to be back till dark, we could leave our front door, back door, windows and big sister open and there was never any trouble, there is no respect for authority any more, everyone is always on their iPad, I had a hoop and stick and it was all the fun I needed, they don't do chores any more, they just expect everything on their lap, and the 6 again is a lottery.

Sorry, I got carried away. Well done Hull KR.

Brisbane are offering a package tour of 9 days for around 3000 quid. Covers Glasgow, Edinburgh,Hull and Liverpool. Throwing in a ticket for a Premier League game Everton v Man United for the Liverpool stay.

Does anyone have the rights to the game? The game wasn’t confirmed until not long ago so it might not be included in the latest tv deal

Bloody hell.

Where did they get a ticket for Everton United for under 3 grand?
