Hopeful that local team Albi will do well again this season. Some good signings and a top replacement for Tony Gigot with the multi talented Robin Brochon joining from TO13. He really is a class act and I’m expecting him to be one of the stars of the division.

The prop/lock they've signed from st Gaudens (tofaloa) is a stand out player, Albi seem a little weaker than last season without gigot, goudemannd, rostang,

Goudemannd got the fast play the balls to let the other two attack, normally Baptiste fabre will be back to full fitness as he struggled a little when he came back from his knee reconstruction,

Limoux is in a transition period with lots of young players, hopefully Villefranche and Villeneuve won't have a second season syndrome, catalans very young and will struggle early in the year, st Gaudens will be soild, Lézignan have spent a lot of money so big expectations, Carcassonne will be favourites as bitigri, albert will be back and they've signed a couple of good imports,

Toulouse will have the same season as last year, most of their games where close but they never managed to get the win, pia will be very strong with quality players, and Avignon will have almost the same team as last year with an upcoming English coach helped by a seasoned assistant,

Should be an interesting year,

Ticking up to half time. Lezignan leading and looking the better with ball in hand.

Great to see Johno Ford still knocking about - if he and Pallares can get their pack on the front foot they’ll get back in this but they’re rushing everything they do in good ball.

Castany pulling the strings but not always the right ones for Lezignan. Often hits the wrong line in attack.

After watching a lot of uk academy,  reserves, championship and super league this year i really struggled watching the super xiii this weekend, very stop start with a lot of penalties, play acting and refs blowing the whistle every 2 minutes,  same the way they form a scrum after a knock on even though the opposing team get the ball, using a scrum instead of zero tackle, the penalty instead of six again for markers not square doesn't help either, they talk about arm wrestle and long game but it's impossible with all the penalties and cheating of the players very frustrating.

The picky refereeing spoils the game but as the refs says rules are rules 🙄

Where's that? The ones that are shared here are from treizemondial.fr and made by the clubs themselves
