Very impressed with the TV coverage on You Tube. One length of the field interception try each. Good to se Ben Jones-Bishop scoring one of them. we had him on loan at London in the Brian McDermott eral and BJB's career has never reached the heights perhaps it should have,

Interested to actually see George Whitby, supposedly one of the answers to St Helens problems next year. Got to admit having seen him in this game it's a bit of a head scratcher as to why he is not in the Saints first team squad.  

10 point gap at the half, So Halifax still in it and and if they score first in the second half - game on.

Disappointing half that. 90% brawn 10% brain. Fax way below their performance at Oldham- mainly because York have kept Whitby pretty safe and quiet. York good defence and line speed but error-ridden. Watchable but poor quality.

Good Game well played York, Halifax were in it for 74 minutes and had momentum from tries from repeat sets, before York Iced the game.

Well disappointed but not massively so, York to me are by far the best team in the championship and we gave them a good game.

Most Fax fans if they’re honest would have taken that at the beginning of the season.

Really thought we would kick on and win it in the last 10 minutes with York out on their feet but yet another mistake from Jouffret put the game to bed. I feel bad for him as he has been a great player for Fax for a few years but tonight was another shocker from him. I feel if JWH had have been available instead we might have just edged it but it was not to be.

York deserve to be in the final with the run they have had and it would take a really outstanding performance for anyone to beat them.

For Fax its been a good season, now its about getting through the winding up petition and seeing where we go next season with a big turnaround of players. Looks like we have got a good young coach in Kyle Eastmond and it would be brilliant if we could hold on to Nofoaluma who I have said before for me is the best player in the Championship.
