The only way Saints win is if they are on the front foot from kick off. As soon as Saints are on the back foot Leeds will ship points for fun.

Leeds by 8. I hope Leeds win easily.
I am going the game on Saturday i don’t know what the weather is going to be like, i was wondering if you can take an umbrella on to the Western Terrace. I know some clubs don’t allow them onto their grounds!!!!.

You never know which way it could go if it's scrappy. I think Leeds will be tough to break down in any game in the play offs but against a Saints side, who are lacking in confidence, I think they'd be silly if they're too conservative with the ball and that could play in to Saints hands and give them a chance. If Leeds continue to move the ball around, as they were at the end of the season, I think they'll win reasonably comfortably.

Leeds at home and in form will surely win this. Comparered to Saints who are away from home and out of form.

Leeds by 14 at least!. Score 20-6 to the Rhinos.

Were not really in form though.

However we should be better than recent showings with virtually a full strength side

Season so far saints 2 Leeds 1

A total of 49 points over 3 games( AVE of 18 per game) this won't be the easy victory for Leeds people expect.

Hopefully all Leeds returning players are fit and ready to play. They have the tools to win but need to make sure they are not frustrated by Saints tactics and stick to the game plan.

I hope the ruck is suitably policed, as when it comes to the playoffs the refs can decide to "let the game flow" by ignoring infringements, when it is better to give a few penalties early doors and set a standard.

The ruck area is shocking but officials seem to ignore the farce.

You don’t. You’re going to the game so why pretend you’re hoping we lose badly?

This cult of Saints fans pretending they want us to lose play-off games rather than win them is so zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Shouldn't see why Leeds would not allow umbrellas on 'the open to the elements' section they reserve for away fans!

C'mon Josef, being a Saints fan and troubling yourself to travel to attend the game and irrespective of your hate of the Saints coaching set up, I really can't see you stood there all smug with an easy Leeds victory, on the contrary if Saints win I expect you will have a face like the proverbial Chesire Cat.

Harry i wish that was the case but as it gets closer i still want us to lose. I am trying to get behind the team but it isn’t working. I don’t hate the coaching setup, Wellens has remained professional throughout his 3yrs especially with some abuse aimed at him which is totally unacceptable. But as a head coach he just isn’t up to it.

Weather looks dodgy at the moment - so Sts Fans can either bring a brolly or buy seats in the stands that are allocated to them and available on their website  😉

The crowd is shaping up to be really poor by the looks of it - which is embarrassing from our fans.

Why should that be? Best finishing position for a long time and a home quarter fixture, are they in a huff because of the Catalan result followed by the trip to Wigan ?

No they're not in a huff - there will be a few reasons - it's not in the season ticket so people will have other plans/can't afford it, and Leeds United are at home on the same day.

Neither of those excuse it though, I think it's, as I say, embarrassing that we won't get a bumper crowd.

Our last home playoff was V Hull FC and got 12,000 - however there was no Southstand at that point (which was very weird!)

The Previous Home Playoff was against St Helens which was 17,000

However they were both Semi Finals.

Last Qualifying Playoff at home was against Catalans and it got 7,000 and the one before in 2013 against St Helens got 12,000

The Qualifying playoff games have never been that well attended at Headingley

Soon we will be dancing the fandango

If Leeds ship points they’ll probably lose.

I’ve got a horrible feeling we’ll beat Leeds then beat HKR and get absolutely smashed by Wigan in the GF.

Nothing Horrible about it, that's sport and on their Day, Saints are as good as anybody else ....... but.......

Wellens really needs to give the team confidence in at least having 2 set plays per set of six. 5 drives and downtown will not score enough points to get you through this.
