I’m already losing interest in SL, but a league of 10 teams, that would be the final straw for me.

IT WILL GO BACK TO TEN, BUT BRADFORD WONT BE ONE OF THE CLUBS TO GO DOWN, SOONER CHAMPIONSHIP CLUBS GET TOGETHER AND BREAKAWAY, THE BETTER, ITS THE ONLY WAY THERE GONNA SURVIVE.

I'm a born and bred Salfordian but Featherstone Rovers was where I watched my second ever RL game in 1973 (the first was Leeds). I was also the time keeper there for Eccles in a Challenge cup tie. Rovers achieved some amazing results in RL for such a small village and I remember watching them at Wembley. That will never happen again since the RFL pulled all the rungs out of the ladder half way up, but I wish Featherstone well for the future.

Does the rugby club actually own the stadium and adjacent land. I know its all mortgaged to the hilt or has multiple charges upon it. However I am wondering if some has already been sold off prior to all this.

No idea.

Transparency is not a word you'd associate with the club over the last 15 years.

I’m only just up to speed with all this. As a fan from the other side of the hill Fev are what Rugby League is all about. I hope we’ll be still going over there at some point in the future when the Rugby League can decide who plays in what division !

Cheers for the kind words ( and other clubs fans) but sadly RL is not about Fev,never wanted in SL for various reasons and although got a proud history of puching above our weight we aren't perceived as 'big enough ' for SL. Just hope we have a team to support next season.

Some of the most memorable games I have attended have involved Fev. My first Wembley in 67. A 17-17 draw with Hornets at POR in the top division ( what a classic, some great names in both lineups, a great atmosphere) and of course that rank outsiders cup final against Hull. David Hobbs was immense that day.

Great memories, lets hope you will make many more.
