My god Derek what have you done lad ?

We will be the laughing stock of the RL world.

Delete "will be". Insert "are".

If only the RFL were a proper governing body ,😄😄😄, rather than a cowboy outfit..........

Clearly a drunken email and i think Wigan have had enough and thought, quite rightly, some pubic humiliation is in order.

It's a brilliant response, they've not shown the email (which i think would be silly) but they've articulated a professional response, whilst exposing the outrageous behaviour.

"At 10:37pm we received an email"

Brilliant.

The guy is embarrassing and pathetic.

What's his issue here?

The issue is that it has to be all about him. All of the time

Please, please can people stop doing things that make me want Wigan to win games?

I mean FFS. What a shower of idiots we have in positions of influence in our game.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Who gets that drunk at 10pm on a Tuesday night? I mean if it was a Thursday (party night, basically the weekend) I could understand it.

I was born to run a club like this. Number 1, I do not spook easily, and those who think I do, are wasting their time, with their surprise attacks.

Note it was DB directly not the Leigh club.

Is there an owners code of conduct

I'd make him come on sky and apologise to Wigan, the broadcaster and the sport for his antics.

Yes there is. He has breached it many times before and been charged previously

Not influence but control

Still gets a game on, imagine if they won!

Last second winner like last Saturday.

lf he's put it in Writing, could Wigan just accept it and say they are now preparing for the Grand Final

We should do and when Derek wakes up with his hangover in about an hour, he'll be in for a shock.

I have a soft spot for Beaumont, bar some of his antics, but what in the actual world!

The RFL need to come down on this like a ton of bricks.

I've got a soft spot for Beaumont too - it's called Pennington Flash.

Wigan are in the right.

Ground holds 25k ish.

They only have to give a 2500 allocation.

The stadium safety officer was an ex police officer who's fully up to speed on these things.

If what has been written is true then Derek doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Sounds perfectly fair. Well done Wigan on your 48-0 win.

Do we reckon it's him thinking he is a marketing genius again?

Maybe Wigan didn't have enough Pyros for him

He was acting on advice from the DeBeau marketing agency.

Imagine what Sky are thinking. The guy has previously taken public pot shots at their organisation and is now threatening to call off probably the second biggest game of the season on their platform.

This is one of the main power brokers in this reset RFL administration. I am astonished at the level of self sabotage going on. Viewing figures are up, crowds are up, clubs are raising standards across the board, why are we in crisis?
