Can someone help me with tickets- is the deal is that only the east stand and the south stand is open, the east stand is seated and the south stand is standing and all of the east stand is sold out?

Or in other words it is standing behind the sticks or bust?

It's an all seater stadium.

I think the east (main) stand is sold out and the south stand (behind posts) is the only one currently on sale.

I'm beginning to think I should be staying at home watching it on TV.

I booked flights and car hire, then realised French ATC are going on strike when we are coming back. So I had to rebook everything using a different day. I'm already down €200 and i've got a worrying eye on the big storm that might mess things up further.

Hopefully you'll get sorted and be here to see the game Just worth mentioning, if you come to the game in your car, make sure to park in the park and ride car park, and NOT in the shopping centre. If you do that you'll be another £100 worse off.

Bon voyage.

North stand now open, a few seats left in the South.

Unreserved seating in the North and South so if you get a ticket for a certain block you can sit in a different block and seat in that stand.

Over 5,000 tickets have already been secured for Sunday’s Betfred Championship Grand Final against @toulouseolympiquerugby 🏆

Due to overwhelming demand, we’ve now opened the North Stand for all fans and supporters.

Thanks for that info. Brother in Law lives in York and is taking us so we will be on the bus. Probably best from a commiseration/celebration beer point of view.

It’s going to be bouncing in the LNER on Sunday.

What's the weather like down there? Pretty stormy further north right now.

Wet and a bit breezy, good forecast for Sunday though.

Really looking forward to this game, should be an enjoyable watch after the East Anglian Derby (which I’m dreading). Two teams who imho should be in SL next season.

Looking forward to a good, competitive game of rugby league. Two cracking team's. Haven't voted on a winner as I think it'll be that close.

York by 10 points, and i hope York and Toulouse are in Super League next season

Absolutely. Crazy (to me) to think at least one could miss out.

I can’t see Toulouse getting the nod, clearly the other clubs don’t want another French team.

Is the West Stand not being used?

If the attendance exceeds 6000 it will be

Sadly I agree. Many saying Toulouse would have to be club 12 so get in via gradings, as the panel is setting its own criteria for 13 and 14 largely to exclude them, woth Bradford and maybe London preferred.

Just arrived in York after a 3hr trip up the A1. Not much rain but still a bit blustery. A tad on the cold side though! (Considering it was 26⁰ and sunny when I left home this afternoon!)

I've been pleasantly surprised about the trip so far. Straight through Stansted, car hire was empty and quick and very friendly, and for the most part nothing on the roads all the way up north.

Do the winners receive any IMG points?

Think I heard 0.25 points on a podcast

Seem a decent amount if fans, Toulouse bought a few. Should be a good game.

Watched the NRL Grand Final, went to the shops, then watched the NRLW Grand Final on catch-up finishing with about a minute to spare before this game begins.

That's some cracking time management if I say so myself. <insert smug emoji here>
