I think York will have done enough to go up. This result helps Toulouse who should also join them. Therefore to my reckoning is between the bulls and London. Let's hope uncle Gary still has enough influence to stop Wood in his tracks

🤣🤣 Refs doing whatever possible to help York win. That's a sinbin 100% of the time.

All the points by penalties 🙄

Well done Toulouse who shut York down very well, they are a terrier-like team on their day. York were a long way off the dominant team they have been for most of the season.

Personally I think these should be the first 2 teams on the list to go into SL next year but it does highlight once again in my opinion the folly of relying on one-off knockout games at the end of a long season as a significant factor in who merits going into a full SL season the following year, I realise it's only 0.25 IMG points as opposed to a winner-takes-all format this year but in my view it's not a good outcome when the clear-cut best team over the regular season risks missing out on the available promotion spot.

Paul Rowley, who knows a bit about the game.

I think Rowley really adds to the commentary. Manages to get his in-depth knowledge of the game across.

The Fat Controller certainly won't be happy with the outcome...

Well he will always be fat, just hoping he has no control

I think it's a good commentary team on The Sportsman.  Good knowledge, especially of the lower leagues.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

I think he’s had a decent game, should have been a card for that high tackle on Ashall-Boult but he was solid and consistent

He had some very strange decisions. Didn’t have an affect on the overall outcome but he generally doesn’t control games well at all. He’s very indecisive and unsure, he lacks clarity in his decision making and has no presence and players take advantage of that. He’s the weakest of the top flight referees by some distance

Yes, I was impressed with the coverage.

Shouldn't give them away then,it's about most points not most trys.  Hopefully York can go up.

Indeed and deservedly so. Yorks discipline was appaling and the refs response to that was exemplified by his failure to card that obvious high hit.

Well done to Toulouse. Fully deserving of the win and really hard fought game. Hopefully they take their place in Super League next season.

Well, I get there are off-field factors to consider, too, but surely now it would be too pointed to overlook Toulouse and, what, put in three teams who between them have only won one of the half dozen or more matches against Toulouse this season?

Good game that, proper arm wrestle. Not the most exciting way to win a game but they scored more points, they won. Well done Toulouse, they did what they needed to do.

Great result. Absolutely chuffed to bits. Hope that’s TO in SL now - absolutely deserve it as the most consistent team in the Championship for years now.

Commiserations to York. Great season. And I really hope you are in SL next season too.

Compelling stuff, best team won on the day.

Tough on Mark Applegarth but he showed a lot of class in the post match interview.

Really was a great example of how to maintain your dignity in defeat, all credit to him.

And just maybe Salford 2025 Limited who will be popular with most SL clubs due to their incredible AWAY support which is worth thousands to the Opposite Chairman.

Congrats Toulouse. Surely they can't be overlooked now?

I really can't see them having Toulouse, York and London though. Can't imagine the "we need to reduce travel and increase away support" Sunday league chairman will be happy to admit those 3 over Bradford.

Can't see London having the investors without the assurance they'd go up.

Someone's going to feel hard done by here.
