I just hope the Leppers don't go through after all this rubbish. Hopefully, the Buffoon will keep quiet then?

There's only one 'p' in 'leper'. p

Wigan by 12 - if it hadn't been for the 'incident' I'd have said Leigh to shade it, but the uncertainty may have distracted their preparation.

I actually think it could work in Leigh’s favour. Bringing a bit of us against the world mentality. I just can’t believe he’s managed to get me hoping Wigan win. It’s making my skin crawl.

The Brick to be bricked, disappointed Lancashire Hotpot fans in tears at the turnstiles and Wigan to thrash Leigh by 20+ points.

It should be a really good contest. Leigh looked great last week and have a set of props (plus Liu at loose forward) who will really take it to Wigan. I think we have a bit more strike but the weather looks shocking, so it's not going to be free flowing. I think we'll just get it done but it'll be tense.

48-0 to Wigan

Now I know that the game is going ahead, I'd like to change my prediction.

49-0 to Wigan.

We’re in a far better position going in to this game than last year when we were so drained after the efforts to get in to the play offs in the first place and then the emotions of the Salford game. That said, you just know Wigan are able to turn it on at a flick of a switch and I think it’ll just be that bit too much for us.

Wigan by 8

Oh so the game is going ahead? I'm shocked by that revelation, I really am 🙄.

Wigan by 20.

I'm quite surprised that Bradford haven't been offered Leigh's berth in the Semi Finals. Couldn't someone arrange it?

They were , but refused to play when they realised how wide the Wigan pitch was 😉

It could go either way really. It could galvanise them, or it they could be emotionally overcharged and blow themselves out early, lose discipline etc.

Lam has shown a tremendous ability to shield himself and the team from any off field nonsense (god knows he’s had enough practice) so I don’t think this week’s shenanigans will have much effect on the pitch.

I do wonder how much more drama Lam can be bothered with.

We desperately need to bring in a replacement for Chester to add more of a shield from it.

I reckon if his son got an NRL gig (and he can’t be far off better than a few NRL halfbacks) he’d be out of there in a shot.

Maybe. But Lam Snr did sign a contract extension at a time when Jnr's agent was trying to get him a new deal elsewhere.

In all honesty, I think it will be a relatively comfortable win for Wigan, but hopefully we put up more of a show than we did last year. Probably be something like the 2nd league game at the Brick this year

Jeez, don't wish that on us. It looked like a bit of a kick around on a park, with defences nowhere to be seen.

I expect it'll be like the game at Leigh. Bad weather, intense, tight and defences on top. The kicking games of both sides will be absolutely huge, as will the packs. Break even in that and it comes down to which backline produce a moment or two.

Could fit two pitches on there ...

I was meaning more in terms of the winning margin rather than how high scoring it will be. I think it’s fair to say that Leigh can’t afford to go 8 points behind in this game, like we did at LSV

I’m only going off the number of times I’ve seen them together and Lam looks at Degsy the same way Melania looks at Trump.

Wigan 10 - 37 Leigh

Is this the ticket allocation ratio DB would have thought acceptable?

I've always liked Leigh and still do ,but we can do without stuff like not turning up for a game of this importance.

Looking forward to a great game no prediction

Soon we will be dancing the fandango
