I can't lie, I'm not massively confident. It was probably down to Leigh and how they ran the ball but we didn't look quite as well drilled defensively last night, as we did at the end of last season and we were sloppy with the ball. I've also felt for a while a few lads are playing busted (Keighran and Wardle being the main two).

What Wigan do have is those magic moments though. I think KR will pin us in at spells and we'll need Smiths boot and that bit of magic to get through it.

Should be a good contest anyway.

You need an astute coach who can have honest conversations with the players.
Come on down Honest Paul Wellens.

He's still moaning. He needs reminding that Leigh supporters were setting off flares at this fixture last year.

I have had many letters and messages, some from significant kit sponsors, containing footage of the despicable treatment bestowed upon thousands of our fans in our semifinal where people were queuing in poor weather conditions whilst they were physically searched, something that wasn’t consistent in other areas at the ground and wasn’t in operation at Old Trafford the following day.

Clearly the values of the Progress with Unity of our Borough were lost in what was an extremely tough week for everyone connected to the club leaving me wondering how the video message I had taken part in would now be valued.

I want to assure everyone that all the letters, messages and videos that I and the club receive will be forming part of our official complaint and will also be provided as part of the full review that will be conducted by the RFL.

I will keep our supporters informed as this proceeds and will vigorously seek the correct outcomes on behalf of our fans as hard as I fought all week.

If anyone has any information regarding their treatment that they would like the club to include then please email info@leighrl.co.uk with any supporting information or evidence.

So in other words the 2nd officer of Jet2 flight LS834 saw them all having to wear leopard spot clothing and hide their flares?

Welcome aboard. On this  forum, not too many folk like the Leigh Leopards, whilst the vast majority on here hate Derek Beaumont with a passion. You'll soon realise that. Try and not rise to the bait as I have, as you'll soon get shot  down by a few people. Anyway enjoy the ride and up the Leopards! 😉

What he means is....Welcome aboard, on this forum not every one is a Leigh Leopards fans and most have the sport as a whole in their interest so are not all instantly disregarding of that club's owners who's action often bring shame and unwarrented ridicule to the sport even though most of us (Leigh fans) think he's ace.
